Yellow Magnolia Cafe - Brooklyn - Photo album

This place is gorgeous! The food was good, although what I got was fairly basic so nothing to be surprised by. Its a fabulous stop if you’re doing the botanical garden, and the service was lovely.
What a lovely experience! The menu items were fresh and delicious. We ordered the mushroom pie with époisses and tomato soup (both vegetarian-friendly) and the chocolate budino tart for dessert. The wait staff was attentive. Would recommend this as a fancier option after a stroll through the garden
Very friendly and professional staff. The food was delicious, the drinks mixed well, and their gelato the tastiest and creaminess I've tried all over NYC. We will be coming back to try the rest of their dishes. It's a hidden gem!
There’s a whole new revamped menu at Yellow Magnolia Cafe - and it was all delicious. Lots of veg friendly options! The chickpea pancake with a healthy mound of sautéed, pickled, and fresh vegetables was hearty and fulfilling. The mushroom pie with luscious schmear of epoisse cheese could be a start
Lovely lunch. It is nice to have an option for delicious food right in the garden. Attentive service and great atmosphere.
Amazing! The Service was Great, also the surroundings, were outstanding. There was this Japanese Area, It was like a part of the Japan culture came to US! The food though.. YUM. I ordered A national hot dog, just to see what it'd taste like. There were no sides or anything, but you can ask for a sid
I made a reservation before going (which I HIGHLY recommend doing), and started to get a little nervous when I decided to read some reviews. Some of the most recent reviews were so negative that I considered canceling my reservation. I'm SO glad I kept my reservation, though, because my family and I
Perfect dining setting within the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Long wall tapestry/mural with floral motif stretches along the entire span of the backside of the dining room. There is a greenhouse style glass atrium half open to the sky and half facing the garden. The tables are set out with comfortable
Went for a work lunch and had an amazing time. The food was surprisingly very good for an institutional venue. The chicken sandwich, fries, salads, and pastas were all delicious. The floral themed menu was also charming without being over the top. Great wine selection too. Besides the food, the ser
We returned here since food service was taken over by Union Square Events earlier this month. The menu was updated and we loved every dish. The menu is very plant forward, probably 80% of the items are vegetarian or vegan but there is a burger and a chicken sandwich for meat eaters. We shared severa
It was such a cool experience to eat in a glass atrium. They make scrumptious homemade biscuits. You must try them! The French toast was superb as well. If you are a member of the garden, you also get a discount!
Visited during Cherry Blossom season at 4pm. Location was quite warm. Especially window view seating. No circulation fans. As for the food. The biscuits are soft but flavorless. Taste was added with the raspberry preserve. The salted maple butter also had no flavor on its own or on the biscui
Needed a bite of breakfast before exploring the gardens and this meal (& my cocktail) was soooo good. Yes, it’s expensive but good service and a nice view of the lily pads! 🌸
Everything was really delicious although service was a little slow and the room was unusually warm for a cool spring day. Maybe it was the greenhouse effect since the building is like a greenhouse. Everyone was nice but the hostess almost Pretty Womaned us until she realized we had reservations even
I enjoyed a really delicious brunch at Yellow Magnolia Cafe. Ordered the elote flatbread from the thoughtful menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Service was attentive and setting is just lovely. Wish they opened for dinner. It's a true hidden gem.
Very nice cafe inside Brooklyn Botanical Garden. You have to pay admission into the garden in order to go to the restaurant. Not sure how I feel about that. There should be speculation that if you spend over $80 your entrance into the garden is waived. There are numerous ways to do this. The ca
Spectacular setting! Appreciate the vegan options available on the menu, like a fruit cup, veggies/hummus, and pretzel. Btw, the Canteen is not cheap!
