Bar Lunatico - Brooklyn - Photo album

Live music remains a treat wherever you find yourself and often attracts a crowd. This place serves good food and satisfying drinks with a steady stream of new and interesting musicians. A friendly atmosphere with rustic decor, you come for the live music of course.
Great music in a great venue. We dropped a pretty penny for a special occasion but didn’t regret a single cent. We tried their mezcals with gusano (worm) salt and oranges, the hummus with warm pita, two cocktails, the caesar salad, and a few of their small plates. Everything came out quickly, the co
Always have a great time. Expect a wait or to stand. Not good for big groups but the drinks are fire, & music is always banging. The food looks good but I've never gotten it.
Fantastic vibe. A musician's bar owned and operated by musicians. I arrived at the end of the first set of a jazz trio, and was given a spot to stand while patrons left, allowing myself and others to sit and enjoy the second set. This music positive culture is a boon, fostered by the owners. I recom
Overall rating: 4.7 I really enjoyed this place! I went solo so I was lucky enough to get the last spot at the bar right before the music started. I don’t remember what I ordered, but it was very good! I don’t see it on the menu anymore, so it might be a seasonal dish. The vibe is really fun & gre
A true hidden gem! We came here at the advice of a friend and had the best evening! We arrived 90 minutes before the live music was set to start and got great seats at the end of the bar with a clear view of the stage. Between drinks and coursing out our meal we were eating and drinking right up to
For music lovers, excellent spot for live Latino jazz. Very cozy place, classic neighborhood bar with marine decor. Food and drinks were affordable. The venue looks small, yet some couples found room to dance. Had to wait a while to be seated. Tip your musicians, they deserve it!!!
Wonderful experience. The food and the drinks were great, but the staff was even better. We really enjoyed our time and we will be back. Loved the live music as well. Overall great time. I had the short ribs and my girlfriend had the bouillabaisse. Pictures don’t do them justice though!
An absolute gem of a place, I'm so glad it's in NYC. Live music, good food, great ambience. Narrow but lively space. This is one of those places that reminds you why it's so special to live in (or visit) NYC. My issue is the staff can be a little controlling and on edge. They should relax, let thing
If you're in new York you HAVE to go here!! This is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to! Amazing drinks, wonderful staff, the music was incredible and I just can't wait to go back!
Live music bars are dime a dozen in New York City and when you think of the best ones you automatically think it has to be in The Village or Tribeca. So when my friend invited me out to Brooklyn for a “live music bar” I did not know what I was signing up for. Walking up to it, it does give off the v
what a treat! a neighborhood spot in bed stuy. whoever was on staff the night of 10/26 when yasser tejeda performed was 100/100 regarding service, hospitality, and good vibes. the staff seemed to have chemistry and enjoy themselves while also providing a great experience, which in turn feeds a good
Great venue for jazz! I really liked the peach and heirloom tomato salad. I came at 8:15 and the 9 pm show was already full so I put my name down for 10. Definitely come over an hour early if you want dinner.
This place will be looked back on as a legendary place for music. The owner moves among the crowd and the music is ALWAYS incredible. I’d heard about it from so many people and when I went it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Go there and have a blast, extra credit if you tell Richard that Sonny sent you. He won’
