I was surprised by the tasteful decor and the even more delicious food. Portions are large, sharing is highly recommended. Natasha was our waitress she was very helpful and friendly as we asked for her recommendations often. I loved the potato dumplings, mushroom soup and chicken kebabs the most out of the things we tried. Honestly I think everything will be tasty! Highly recommend 🍴
This is my first time.
We arrived on Monday evening, were seated on the second floor. Place was lively with few parties going on.
Music was so complementing the space. I really liked decor and the effort that was put into creating unique space.
Overall food experience is scrumptious! Salads, soups, appetizers were so tasty.
Cool and unique place to meet with friends and have a peaceful conversation.
Waiting stuff is well organized,no delayed, everyone is super friendly and informative.
We really enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you.
Last time here we had a bless. I would recommend this place to any one who wants to try eastern European food. Food was delicious and fresh, cooked just right and design makes you feel like you having a meal in the backyard somewhere in belorusia .
I was very pleased with the service . Owner saw that we ordered almost everything from the menu and told us that to have a full experience we need to have a shot of infused vodka "thank you sir" it was true. I'm am very hard to please especially when it comes to food and I'm definitely going to be back!
My friends invited me there. I liked the atmosphere and design, althought I was told the majority of it remained from the previous cafe. The servers were nice and attentive, however the receiptonist showed us some attitude in the beginning. The food was beyond delicious. I would definitely recommend to try Khrenovuha and Village Style appetizer.
I really enjoyed my dinner here. My favorite part was definitely the decor, it was so cool looking with wooden tables and chairs and dividers and all traditional wall designs and outfits for the employees. They were friendly and nice and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I order the borscht which was garlicky and delicious and then had the golpts which stuffed cabbage and I ate everything. It melted in my mouth. We also ordered three different cakes to try during dessert. I can definitely recommend this place.
Very nice and super friendly staff! Delicious and fancy food! Strongly recommended for everybody, especially for family time!
Cuisine and service exceeded all my expectations. Our waiter Maxim worked quickly and professionally. Authentic interior is really nice, delicious dishes, interesting soft and hard drinks. I strongly recommend to check this out!
Gorgeous setting with rocking food. Never tried most of these dishes although I grew up in Russia. Very cool authentic experience. Gorgeous waiters
Tasty, authentically presented, feel good food!
Decor truly sets one inside a village home... highly recommend!
What a gem. When my girlfriend and I sat down, our first waitress greeted us in Russian. I apologized for not speaking the language, and our waitress Anastasia guided us through the menu. We had garlic toast with salo and tartar—the rendered fat with herbs was rich and flavorful, and the bread was more like fried polenta, in that it was crispy, but substantial. Anastasia said the herring “village style” was like “Belarusian sushi,” and she was right. We also had the mushroom soup, and potato pancakes with crackling. All of it was fantastic—and inexpensive. Drinks were affordable, too; shots of liquor were as little as $2 or $3, and a surprising number of wines were available. I loved this place and plan to come back for my birthday—but if what Anastasia said about the NYT writing about the place soon is true, it’ll be far busier.
