If you have a chance to come here on the first Tuesday of every month, they have a 15 course tasting menu that is phenomenal. Otherwise, if you come here on any other day, you will still leave more than satisfied.
Always an incredible experience here. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is speedy quick and excellent.
I highly recommend the Dan noodles, the dry pot, and the eggplant in garlic sauce.
That will nicely feed a group of 3!
If you have a tolerance for spicy food, I highly recommend trying their Dry Pepper Fried Chicken. The batter is crispy from triple frying and is wonderfully well-seasoned. The ratio of chicken to batter is also just right. What's impressive is that even when I had it cold the next day, it still tasted delicious. They also serve warm tea before your meal, which really helps build your appetite. This restaurant is conveniently located, so grabbing a meal here before grocery shopping at Target or Trader Joe's is a great idea.
OMG truly authentic Chinese food that is fresh and tasty!
I visited this place for lunch on Friday afternoon before lunch was done I knew I would be back very soon.
Saturday afternoon I visited with my fiancé for a late lunch and the food once again did not disappoint.
The serving sizes are large. One entree is enough to feed two people comfortably. We ordered two entrees and one appetizer there was so much food left over! So be mindful of the size when ordering.
The food was delicious so tasteful and delicious. Served fresh, hot and fast you can’t miss this place! It was just an all round great experience!
We ordered dumplings in hot oil… delicious, cumin chicken….. delicious….. garlic sauce chicken… delicious. Asa side we ordered their Bok Choy with mushrooms this dish was good but not as good as the others. Next time we will definitely skip this side dish.
The staff each time we visited were friendly and very good at their jobs. We have absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be back soon
My go-to lunch spots! Their mapo tofu and fried pepper fish ALWAYS hits the spot. Their portions are huge for both lunch and dinner. Me and my bf been here numerous times and we almost always get their mapo tofu. Other menu items I’ve loved are dan dan noodles and double cooked pork!
For Sichuan food with friends, this is a great spot to hit. Food wasn’t too spicy and portions are not Chinatown portions but reasonable for the price. All the items we order were good to my standards, but many dishes were on the sweeter side and definitely not as oily.
Recommend going in a party of 4 or more to get more variety in the dishes you can order.
Wait staff was nice and all entrees come with rice.
Happy hour is only at the bar.
We made a reservation for 3 on the NYC restaurant week website. Got there and was seated in a very warm way. Only to be told upon inquiring that the restaurant only participates in the restaurant week festivities from Monday- Friday. This was Saturday. There was nothing on the website that stated this. Anyway, I digress. The prices weren't bad so we ordered. The entrées then came first and long before the appetizers so we had to wait a bit to start eating. The food however was bar none!!! Everything we ordered was exceedingly delicious and flavorful with great portion sizes! The drinks were mind blowing as well! The ambiance was serene and wonderful, replicating exactly what type of restaurant they were! The take home containers were very disappointing as well. However, we definitely would go again.
I thought the food was pretty good. I had the hot sauce style beef, dan dan noodles, and tofu (I don't remember which particular dish the tofu was), but it was the most I ever enjoyed tofu in a restaurant.
The dan dan noodles and hot sauce style beef were good too. The beef wasn't really spicy, but it wasn't til I was almost done with it where I realized the spicy chili bits were in the exact middle of the bowl, so unless you mix it up, you won't really find the dish spicy.
The service was a little spotty. We needed napkins and forks (because I'm really bad at using chopsticks), but took a few minutes to get someone's attention. The restroom was also of questionable cleanliness. The ceiling is a nice gold, shiny color, but the ground is like dirty concrete? I don't know why they didn't put some tiling. Also, the toilet is incredibly low down, even for a short person.
Other than that, it was fine. I like that they give complementary hot tea. I think it's oolong but I'm not sure.
We always want to have spicy food when the weather is colder. This restaurant is our go to place. They can customize the spicy level according to your request. The food here is tasty but not over oily like some other sichuan restaurants. We only wish the portion a bit bigger.
Dan Dan noodles were rich and creamy. Crispy spicy cucumber is a must, so yummy, and if you get the wontons then dunk them in the cucumber sauce and it’s bomb. Cashier was also very friendly. Good food and they are open late.
We have been to Han Dynasty a couple of times and food is always fantastic. 3 cup chicken is extra delicious with a reasonable price. Staff are also very friendly and make sure you have drinks, whether it's tea, water or other. Definitely worth a visit.
I don’t normally write reviews, however I was very pleased with this place! It was open at 1 AM and the staff were extremely friendly. His name is Jose or Josue, guy with glasses. Ask for him! He even went through the menu with me and asked me about my allergies ( I have a nut allergy). The food was amazing and flavorful. Wish I had asked for the chef’s name! Han Dynasty is amazing!
solid delivery spot. the veg lo mei was pretty stacked with perfectly cooked veggies and it went even better with the chili oil from the dumplings, which were also really good. the spring rolls were a bit small but tasty nonetheless. would probably prefer to eat on location next time- grub hub prices be pretty ridiculous
Never disappointed. Everything tastes good. The service is always great. It was my hidden gem. Now EVERYONE knows how good they are. 😁
Ordered-Chicken in garlic sauce w/ vegetable fried rice. The wing appetizer is de-lish.
Food is here is amazing. service is great and fast. Scallion pancake was a bit oily but tasted okay overall. The quality of lamb was really good.
We got the veg lo main, scallion pancake, lamb dry pot, big portions and was enough for two people.
Very kind & attentive service, delicious food 🍱
Love the interior of this location. Staffs are very friendly and attentive.
I got the dry pepper w/ scallop at medium level spiciness. Absolutely delicious! The scallops are fairly large in size and super juicy though the batter was a tad too thick for my taste but still very crunchy!
Great value for (mostly) authentic Chinese food. Staff is organized & attentive, food comes out quickly, menu has tons of options. Highly recommend the scallion pancake, Taiwanese sausage appetizer, 3 pepper beef slices. Lomein was good but too sweet. Been to other locations in Manhattan and this restaurant is consistently good👌🏼 always
