Quaint…. It was a Sunday so I assumed it would be a relaxed environment. I read many reviews, mostly good. This was a Groupon gift. So I had my reservations…. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. They were attentive and patient. The establishment was clean and organized and when we ordered our food it came out quick and hot and fresh. Everyone has their tweeks but overall I can’t complain about much. Expect the ice water needed more ice…. They were courteous and attentive! We had the short ribs and they were so tender and falling off the bone. I also have to mention the bartender that made our drinks deserves a 5 star ⭐️ rating alone! Never once have I ever not been able to finish my drink! I had the Manhattan and it was superb! The serving portions were enough to fill us and the prices were actually not to bad, we were full and spirited even after we got home!!

A little Italian gem tucked away in a quite neighborhood of Williamsburg. A cosy place that's authentically decorated. The service and the staff was incredible and everyone was so attentive. The food overall was delicious with very generous portions. We ordered a bottle of Chianti red wine which we thoroughly enjoyed and can definitely recommend. We had the Burrata for the appetizer which was absolutely superb. For entrees/main course we had one pizza Burrata Prosciutto and one Paccheri pasta which were both unbelievable and I highly recommend them. Overall a phenomenal experience which we highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Came here on a whim with a Groupon, left full, fat and happy. EXCEPTIONAL service, food quality and taste, cleanliness and overall experience. Drinks: 5 stars for taste (and potency😉) food: we shoveled down butternut squash soup, pan seared sea scallops that came couscous but we subbed it with risotto (DELECTABLE!!) Braised short ribs with mashed potatoes, and the flounder with spinach. Needless to say they gonna have to wheel me out every time I come.

The service was great although the food was hit or miss on some dishes. Calamari was great but the flounder was not very flavorful. The chicken was very good, the penne vodka was nothing special but still good. The tomato gnocchi was well liked. Tiramisu was also nothing special with the crème bulee being not very good!

I have been to Da Francesco Italian Restaurant on Graham Ave in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY several times. The reason I keep going back, is due to my favorite item on the Menu, Braised Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes. I had read past reviews on that particular meal, and everything I read about it is 100 % True...The Braised Short Ribs is so tender, that the meat slides off the bone. You don't even need a knife to cut it...The meat is so moist and tender and so flavorful...I actually went out on this cold dreary rainy evening, specifically for the Braised Short Ribs and I was not disappointed. I decided to also order two other items, for dinner tomorrow, that I have never had there before. I ordered the Lentil Soup as it was one of the Specials today. When I got home, I took a spoonful of it, to sample it, and it was actually delicious. I am a Veteran of the US Army, and a cooking school grad.....retired from the Port Authority of NY and NJ, worked at the cafeteria in 4 different work sites. I specialized in soups, and food preps, plus working as short order cook on the grill. I know my soups and that lentil soup gets a 10 in my book. I also ordered Chicken Parm with Linguine on the side , and must say that it looks really good. Whenever in Williamsburg , Brooklyn NY, on Graham Ave you should make it a point to check them out. They are open until 10 PM on weekdays and until 11 PM on weekends....By the way the staff is super here, the servers Roberto, Jorge and Javier are so courteous, so polite, attentive to detail, and always focused on their customers and always do a professional job. I met Mr Francesco, the owner of the restaurant and must say he is a down to earth person,so humble and a gentleman.

We've been going here for years. Haven't been since before CoViD19. Francesco chef owner greeted me like I was there yesterday! Great guy! Decor is magnificent, our Soprano aficionado from Ireland was really impressed. Roberto treated us like the royalty we are. LOL Great service. The food? OMG! Just as years ago exquisite. The appetizers were so good and prepared exactly as we specially ordered. My GF had the short ribs again and was just as satisfying as the first and second times (she really has to try something else). One of the Irish lasses had to try the Margherita pizza and when it came out she said she would never be able to finish it. Well she only left one small slice she enjoyed it so much. The other Irish lass wanted to try ravioli but wanted it in the vodka sauce my GF recommended and was easily accommodated. I had the lobster spaghetti special - out of this world! I can't wait to get back to Da Francesco. Worth a trip from Staten Island. Well now my GF's sister from Ireland and her Brooklyn boyfriend wanted a special place to eat before she returns to Ireland. Where else but Da Francesco's?! Another exquisite experience. Food. Service. Atmosphere. (And again she got short ribs. LOL) Calamari appetizer my gosh!

Had a small family luncheon here today and was very pleased with the entire experience. We were greeted warmly, shown to our table promptly, menus, water and bread were provided quickly. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were all delicious. The server was attentive and the food was served fresh and hot. I would eat here weekly if I lived closer. If you’re in the neighborhood and want a good Italian restaurant with authentic Italian food, this is the place!

Great Italian food in a quiet place in Williamsburg. Fresh pizza made in a gas oven upfront. Beautiful dining area inside. Good food. Great for both parties and dates.

The branzino fish is WOW! Never lets me down. It’s seasoned and prepared perfectly without comprising the taste or texture. Same for the veggies and potatoes. The resturant itself is pretty, calming, unique. Complete transition from the busy street outside - once inside it’s a serene relaxing setting. The dessert is yummy too! My pic is a take out order will update when I dine in. Take a look at that pretty fish! The staff is lovely and polite

I wanted old Italy. A friend directed me to a friend, who he promised would give me that experience. When I walked in with him, everyone lined up to kiss his hand and pay their respects. Okay, this is exactly what I was looking for. The interior was amazing, and the staff was overwhelmingly friendly. I figured my guide had some influence on that, but still I felt as though I was family in here. Sampled some amazing spirits, and it wasn't until months later I found out who I was hanging out with. Google is an amazing thing. With that being said, I didn't get clipped, and I truly enjoyed the ambiance of Da Francesco. Definitely worth the stop to sample what old Italian America was like years ago.
