My dad and I think the pizza here is delicious and it's nice to have a wonderful place to eat in Kensington. The crust is thin, not crisp, but has a crunch to it while also being soft. It droops at the front of the slice sometimes, but each slice is smaller so it doesn't fall apart. The ingredients are top notch too. My favorites are the Brighton Beach (bacon/garlic/black pepper) and the Coney Island 2.0 (chorizo/pineapple). I think the pineapple should be thicker to be a more present flavor on the pizza. And recently, I just had this special BBQ sauce pizza with pork belly that was amazing! They don't have your typical accouterments either! No crushed pepper flakes here! No, they use shichimi togarashi! And they introduced me to Mike's Hot Honey, made in Brooklyn. Apparently honey is amazing on pizza! My mom is put off by sourdough and, as such, didn't want to eat here. But the sourdough is not noticeably sour. She loved it as well. She got the East Williamsburg (cremini mushroom and truffle salt), and the stuffed eggplant appetizer, which was big enough to be a meal. The wait staff is so nice and attentive. A couple of people doing a lot of running around. You might even see the owner once in a while! They have a full bar, but I don't drink. It is, however, always full of people and then some, so I imagine they have very good drinks.

Biggest suprise ever! Went to eat at Wheated and it just so happens to have one of the best cocktail programs I have ever sampled! The oven fired pizzas were fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Excellent pizza and meatball calzone, but the highlight is the Thai honey to use on your crust.

Great food, extensive whiskey and bourbon lists, and friendly service. Favorite pizza is the Bay Ridge, but all of them are great. Make sure you try the hot honey with the crusts and their homemade sriracha sauce. Almond cake is amazing, too!

Combine artisan pizza + cocktails = you got me hooked, babe. When I discovered Wheated, I couldn't have been more excited to try their pizzas and so we set out to order some (many) pies. Reading over the menu, I fell in love with the way they named them by Brooklyn areas. They really do suit the names. I am a fan of the Kensington and Bensonhurst pies. Perfect, tasty crust with the right ratio of sauce to cheese. Toppings are just as fabulous and they are lenient with allowing you to make switches to your pies. They are also a perfect location for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, giving both great options to work with. We also tried their delicious chocolate dessert. Absolute heaven in a bowl. A huge selection of whisky, cocktails and wines will greet you at the front bar like setting. Overall a magnificent experience with waiters being friendly, attentive and willing to help. My only reservation with giving 5 stars, they do not take reservations and they only open at 6PM. Parking in the neighborhood is a breeze.

Just picked up a pie for my son who is allergic to dairy and tomatoes. Owner David, special made one that wasn't on the menu, a sea salt pie with olive oil and thyme. Delicious!! My son loved it, he almost ate the whole pie, but my wife and I had to have a slice too. Thanks for your accommodation!

Saying that Wheated is a whiskey bar is like saying the Mona Lisa had a nice smile or that Van Gogh was slightly artistic. They've elevated the Art of Whiskey and offer a world class selection of drams from around the world. Oh, the food's pretty excellent too. Don't expect to drive home. Ever.

This is hands down my favorite neighborhood restaurant and one of the best pizza places in NYC. The brussels sprouts salad is beyond delicious and their pizzas are fantastic! The cocktails are well crafted and the service is always spot on.

The best bagel I have had in years, and likely the best bagel in NYC right now. Crust was thin and crisp, crumb beautiful, and the whole bagel was covered in everything seasoning. Burnt scallion cream cheese was delicious. I went half an hour out of my way to come by and it was absolutely worth it. Run don’t walk to get these bagels.

Pizza and cocktails were both delicious. Staff was really friendly but it was a little disappointing that no mention of the hot oil or honey were made. The place also gets super busy. Would love a beef option. All of their meat option is pork. Overall definitely worth it to try it and I would go back.

Amazing neighborhood pizza and bar. Their pizza combinations are a must try and they have great cocktails to go with it. Must try to dip the crust in their homemade chili oil. Fire 🔥!

Hands down, this is by far the best and my favorite pizza in NYC. If you like a very tasty (on the thicker side) crust, delicious sauce (on the sweet side- as it should be!) and amazing delicious toppings, this is your spot. I am a huge pizza fan and have tired many pizza joints around the city, and this is the place I will always come back to for a great pizza! Also, their cocktails are amazing!! The staff is super friendly despite how busy they get so be mindful that they just opened their dine in (March 2022) since covid so they are fairly busy most of the time, so try and come in the early evenings.

First timers to Wheated. On par with all the elite New York shops, but best customer service experience we've had at any of the sit down pizzerias - bartender and waiter could not have been more welcoming. We ordered 4 different pies and each was cooked perfectly. Fantastic cocktails. Can't wait to go back.

An awesome whiskey bar that happens to serve great pizza as well, with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere to boot. I first came to Wheated in March 2020 and struck a deal for some whiskey they were selling to raise money to pay staff. I'm happy I got it, happy to support their good cause at the time, and even happier they made it through and are back up and running. Their whiskey selection is among the best in the city, with a stellar range of bourbon, rye, some other American and world whiskies, and most importantly Scotch. You can get 1oz or 2oz pours, which means DIY flights are easy to assemble. Tonight, my brother and I tried four different Old Particular bottlings, none of which I've ever seen or tried before, and they have 50 more bottles I'd be happy to try after that - old OBs, interesting IBs, and some of the big names to keep the prestige buyers happy. I know I saw some Macallan Editions and a Springbank 21 already open, plus a bunch of even higher stuff on another shelf. The bartender was more than happy to indulge my stupid questions and put together a great flight, and the pizza was delicious as well. Glad my brother lives nearby so I have a reason to come back in the future.

Ok. Let's talk about Wheated. It was good before COVID. Somehow, post COVID has gotten phenomenal. It's a small space that doesn't open until 5pm, but best believe you should show up at 4:45p to get a seat cuz they're at capacity by 5:08. The Pizza is THAT good. Granted, it's a tad expensive. But you get what you pay for. Promise. The host and server combined make such a power play team of excellent customer service. You're always warmly welcomed and catered to, no matter how full the place is. My partner and I have a standard pizza order (there's method here, pay attention.) The Greenpoint and The Vinegar Hill are a tag team made in heaven. Now, the VH is a gorgonzola pizza (my partner calls it the foot cheese pizza), it's not a dish for the faint of heart. It's heavy and rich and savory and utterly delicious. But it is a lot. So. To counter that, take a bite of their refreshing Greenpoint, which is topped with roasted brussel sprouts. It's garlicky and refreshing. Like a garlic knot. The perfect palette cleanser. You wouldn't think that a brussel sprout pizza would be as addictive as it is - but after we had it the first time. We were thinking about it for days. Shout-out to the bartender. The cocktails they have are all tasty and distinctive. I always go for a Golden Hour, while my fiance gets the Penicillin. While I haven't had the opportunity to try the ridiculous number of whiskeys they have in store, It's impressive to note the collection that they have. Not sure if there's much more I can say except, go. Sit down. Have dinner. Be amazed. A great local spot for excellent fare. ♥️

This place is a real treat! Our usual order is the pineapple pie on their menu and we add bacon, but we had their new pie, the Dumbo, and it was amazing. Going to be hard deciding which one to order next time. We always get one of their cocktails too. Really miss sitting at the bar at this place but happy they are making it work!

Best pepperoni pizza! The Ice cream in the sundae is not too sweet, good combination with the sweet brownie. The cherry so sweet! Amazing!
