I was already a huge fan of La Superior, and the apple does not fall far from the tree! They offer a broader menu of excellent tacos and entrees.

Some of the best tacos to ever touch my mouth. I got the pastor, asada, and carnitas tacos, and all of them were amazing. I also got the excellent rice and beans and my companion enjoyed her chilaquiles. The service was also attentive and super friendly. This may be the most underrated restaurant ever! Don't pass it by.
A chill spot with good tacos. The starters were all good also. The tacos are served “family style” with a rack of toppings to add to the tacos. I recommend the taco with mango habanero, it was soooo good.
Really amazing tacos! The duck carnitas, the Al pastor, the brisket taco were our favorites. We also ordered a side of blistered scallions, highly recommend to add it to your tacos.

Very good Happy Hour deals! It’s not huge and doesn’t have a ton of seating, but wasn’t overly busy when we were there a little after lunch time. The drinks were very good and I only wish we hadn’t eaten beforehand so I could have tried some food. *Note: they do mention being Cash Only!
We were walking through the neighborhood starving. Mateo stepped out and asked us to sit. Great vibes, better food, love the stickers and graffiti - and Mateo took great care of us. Best meal in NYC. Will be back when we’re back. 10/10

5-out of-5 does not do this place justice. I came here thrice a week when I lived nearby. I celebrate all my life victories here. The margaritas are to die for. The tacos are even better. And they even take credit cards now. Warra establishment.
I enjoyed their happy hour very much. $2 carnitas and vegan tacos and a $5 margarita. You can't beat that.
This is one of my go-to places and by and far the best Mexican food in all of NYC. It’s affordable, has great happy hour deals, and the food is delicious.
Highlights include the queso Fundido (get it with the peppers), tacos (specifically fried shrimp, the peppers + potato’s, Al pastor), Elote, and Alambres. Margarita with Tamarind is also an amazing Marg with stellar tequila.
Note that the menu is VERY literal. So if you see a taco say it just has “steak” it will be just steak, no addt’l add ins.
The food is so amazing I can't help but do a happy dance with every bite, the staff is also incredibly friendly. Thank you so much to the chefs and cooks for making such beautiful food and thank you to the front of house for being so easy to talk to
My friend and I were walking around West Village and came across this place. They had great birria tacos and drinks! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot in this area! Cindy, our server, was very sweet and helpful too!

Good tacos. *Real* good. AustinGood™ in fact.
They're wee (which is the way they should be), and not too complex (which also the way they should be).
Mind you, you *can* get it w/ all sorts of stuff, but my recommendation is to go for simple - after all, Simple Is Good™ :-)
The drinks are, come to think of it, just about as good. Mind you, you _can_ go down the (equally excellent) cocktails route, but for my money, stick with the too drinkable margaritas...
Seriously, just go, eat, enjoy, and repeat
I love their tacos, guacamole, salsa and margaritas. I have been here various times and I loved every single time. I had one waiter be rude to me but I wrote it off as an isolated event and let it slide. I reccomend their happy hour . I wish they had frozen margaritas because their margaritas are delicious and would love a frozen one on a sunny day. Overall this place is great!!!!
