As relatively new Brooklyn residents, we're still exploring all the restaurant options in and around where we live. We've been working our way down Henry Street and finally got to visit The Binc for happy hour and a light dinner.
First of all, the atmosphere. Very cozy and intimate. It's a relaxing place to enjoy their awesome cocktails. Try the Corpse Reviver #2. Delicious.
#2: The staff. Very friendly and helpful and the speed of service was fabulous. This feels like a neighborhood bar where you are treated as a regular even if you've never been there before.
Finally, the food. Every single thing we ordered was really, really good. Not just "okay" but amazing! Simple dishes like roasted baby beets, truffle fries, and short rib pastrami tacos were prepared and plated perfectly.
So, to summarize: I think we've found a favorite new neighborhood spot. We'll be back again soon!

We found this small bar on the corner and fell in love with it. We had fries, flat bread and shrimp, and all of them are amazing and delicious!! The waiter was super cool and helpful, and the space is just so cute and we love the atmosphere.
Will be back if we are around here!
Went there for pre-dinner cocktails and it was lovely. Since it was cold outside,my husband started with the hot toddy which was amazing.. I had the Southwest Aurora followed by the Blanche Dubois..the presentation was great and the bartender was a delight to watch!
An amazing bar, with excellent cocktails and a super talented bartender. Feel free to go for the bartender’s choice in terms of your drinks … cause he got you. We loved it!
A cozy little place with very friendly staff. We just had few gin and tonic’s. We didn’t try the food since we already ate dinner, but many people were eating both inside and outside on the terrace.
Dillon was such a warm, friendly bartender. Happy Hour featured delicious $12 cocktails and tasty bites. Will absolutely go back. Intimate and inviting atmosphere. Just perfect.
Super cool place with great aesthetic! Popped in for a drink after dinner down the street and it was a great choice. One friend had the bartender’s choice, another was hoping for an espresso martini and both were extremely pleased. I asked for 2 different cocktails that are a bit unusual but the bartender Soso didn’t bat an eye and made them spot on! Great vibe, great cocktails, wish I lived closer to come back more often.
A great place for a date
Stopped here on a Tuesday after 5:00. The cozy place has a simply wonderful atmosphere. Service was very friendly. The excellent appetizers & other light meals are provided by the adjacent Italian restaurant. The place got nearly full by 7:00.
With "happy hour" the 2 vodkas, 2 beers & 2 appetizers came to $75. Quite pricey, but it still was a fun splurge.

This place has dark lighting and is very cozy. The bartender is extremely professional and friendly. I told him my taste and he made me a passion fruit daiquiri that was just what I wanted. There is also an outside sitting area. I enjoyed my time there
Happened to walk in without knowing much about the place. Great cocktails - the bartenders choice was perfect. Got some good recommendations about the area from the friendly bartender. Loved it!

Drinks and Bites. High marks because a lot of establishments in the area close early or close their kitchen early on Sundays.
Servers were friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. Tried this Elote Fries and Mushroom flatbread - both were delicious.
One star off because the food is priced on the high side.

Stopped in last night for a drink with friends and the service was fabulous (forgetting the bartenders name) but the drinks were fast and so good, particularly the "&&&&&" and the bartender was so spot on and friendly. Would definitely recommend choosing one of the many specialty cocktails and the bartender gave great rec's
Bartender was excellent. Great ambiance place to get a couple craft cocktails and small plates.
Opened til late for a weekday. Cool spot that has decent drinks. Waiter was a bit slow but that seemed like cause he was doing a lot of the work. Overall, would come again and try other drinks.
I was in NY on a business trip and we walked to this little gem. The dinning experience was awesome. They are known for their cocktails however their small plates were delicious and lets not forget the gelato...
