Hanco's - Brooklyn - Photo album

I recently visited Hancos at their new-ish 7th Avenue location. The lychee bubble tea was excellent, the boba was fresh and the tea was not overly sweet. I usually order the shredded chicken banh-mi sandwich or shrimp spring roll in rice paper, which is always yummy :) This time I was trying to go
Their new storefront a couple units down from the old one is bright and beautiful! Picking up an order from grubhub was easy. Delicious milk tea and Vietnamese banh mi, even though they don't call it that for some reason. My only complaint with the sandwich is that the veggies are mostly on one si
Pros: I was craving a banh mi sandwich - came upon this place saw they had sardine sandwich got it and fell in love. The BREAD is so fresh its like it just came out of the oven so soft and buttery, I use to the bread on the hard side from other places I dine. Other than that the filling was typical
🥖 vegetarian chicken banh mi - didn’t get my usual tofu and glad I tried this. It was delicious and spicy. Baguette was light and crispy Not pictured but I also tried their hot jasmine boba - the jasmine green tea was good but I didn’t like chewing on boba in a hot drink but that was my fault 😅 Grea
Found this spot on ChowNow and pre-ordered for lunch. Wanted to go a little outside the box on my banh mi so I chose sardine and I was very happy I did. The marinated veggies were crisp and fresh, and the sardine melted nicely into the warm roll. Good sauce, nice and light. Also got a summer roll wi
Hanco's is a South Slope institution, an enduringly popular spot for local teenage crews to hang and feed their bubble tea addictions, an authentic Vietnamese joint with wholesome banh mi sandwiches and uplifting, fortifing pho soups. Consistently good fare and youthful vibe.
I love hancos a lot!!! This one is right by my job so I get it almost every Friday. The bubble tea is great and the selection of flavors is amazing. Don’t be fooled though, if you are not a fan of tapioca they have 3 or more substitutes for it!!! I typically get the honeydew milk tea with boba! I lo
Anything you order here will be delicious but the shredded chicken bahn mi is one of life’s true great joys :) love love love Hanco’s
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a well balanced broth. I loved it and the portion size was huge!!
Banh mi & bubble teas are yummy! Nothing extraordinary but always a solid meal. Their banh mis use a smaller hero than most other spots but I don’t mind since the bread tastes fresh. Really enjoyed their honeydew bubble tea
The best Vietnamese chicken sandwich in Park Slope, mostly chicken but sometimes pork, it took me a while trying other places, but this place is just great.
Boss bought us Hanco's banh mi for lunch today, and I can't wait to go back for another tomorrow. This is only the second banh mi I've had on the mainland US that I think is excellent. Classic banh mi is absolutely stuffed with ham, pâté, and boiled pork. The ratio of meat to (also generous) pickle
Good boba—very tasty and perfect temperature! 😊 I ordered the chicken pho with chicken broth. Amazing broth and all but the chicken itself even after having the pho together—was so under seasoned? Had to add spices from my own cabinet. Hopefully it was just a bad batch of underseasoned meat but woul
I lived in Vietnam for three years, and I'm pretty picky with my Vietnamese food. I had a classic Banh Mi and some shrimp rice paper rolls (summer rolls). Both were spotttt on! I really couldn't ask for much more. Simple. Delicious. Authentic. Will definitely go back when in the area.
Very good food and priced very well for the neighborhood. You get it within 5-7 minutes. Might take longer if they have more people/orders. Bubble tea isn't the best and you should definitely ask for light ice or you will get a watered drink. The place has bathrooms in the back.
