This place is a hidden gem. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Red Hook Tavern is the hotspot in Red Hook right now, but this place is on par, if not better. We had the Pea Pea Dumps, Trout Tartare (pictured), and the Chicken Sandwich 2.0. Everything was top notch and the Chicken Sandwich migh
Add this to the list of Red Hook gems. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for drinks and the “spam and clams.” Yum!! Great service, owner is very nice, interior is cool. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, dumplings are out of this world. Vibes are great.
We ordered biscuits with mushroom gravy, mushroom fried rice, and shrimp buns — and shared these in tapas style. Everything was so well done: seemed like the right amount of everything. Also, loved their decor — it seems like most of the items were bought at a thrift store, which is absolutely amaz
Came early on a Sunday afternoon. Seated immediately. It’s a really nice place. Sunday burger is very tasty. Very smooth Vinho Verde. Service is nice. Definitely a place to come back.
I’m literally still sitting at my table right now eating dessert with friends. We wound up eating two apps, six entrees, and obviously dessert between the four of us. This is the best duck I’ve ever had. The chicken sandwich tasted like sesame chicken mixed with heaven. The best part is that we have
Our new Red Hook favourite! We had tomato, duck and chicken burger to share and each dish knocked our socks off. The service was attentive and friendly too. Felt very cosy and we are certainly coming back to try other dishes!
Creative menu and satisfying taste. The menu is always changing and there is always something to discover. Friendly service, sit at the bar or tables. Fancy wine list.
Google description calls this a vegetation restaurant "using locally sourced fish", which is silly, their current menu has no fish at all. It's darned good though, and while mostly vegetarian my favorite dish today was the "Duck and Waffles" sort of spin on Chicken and Waffles, with a perfectly done
Every dish was amazing! What a creative menu - a burger with bacon ground up in there, chefs kiss. Love the Pea pea dumps as well. Fun bathroom. Superb service. Thanks to chef Kevin and our server Rob, We will be back!
Had the lamb cold noodles and the duck confit waffle, along with an Ebbs Gose to wash it all down. Everything was excellent as was the service.
