Grand Sichuan House - Brooklyn - Photo album

Came here for lunch with my buddy. It was a Wednesday so not packed but a few other tables were full. We had wonton soup, shared the shrimp wonton in hot oil and the dry cumin beef and salt and pepper squid. This place had been talked up to me for a while and didn’t disappoint. The soup and wontons
Absolutely delicious. Had the pork soup dumplings, wonton in red oil, mapo tofu, dan dan noodle, twice cook pork and the cold beef trip salad. I recommend all of this. Everything was perfectly spicy and it came out super quick. Make sure to ask for extra chilli oil 😈😈
Obviously atmosphere and service are graded on a hole-in-the-wall curve. But the food doesn't need any caveats. Gotta order from the Sichuan menu: tea-smoked duck is as good as any duck anywhere, pumpkin soup, mapo fish, tripe, hotpot, lamb are all great. From Am-Asian standards, scallion pancake (e
Stand out, authentic Sichuan joint that is far afield of the city’s many ethnic Chinese agglomerations. Certainly among the better options across many cuisines for the neighborhood and potentially worth a trip from other parts of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The dining room is small but accommodating
Small, comfortable, clean, and cozy environment. I've been here several times and tried several different items on the menu.... The food is absolutely amazing here
Absolutely AMAZING food!!! Their braised whole fish in black bean sauce is unbelievable. Tastiest meal I’ve had in a long time. Will certainly be coming back!!
This is our favorite Sichuan place in Brooklyn. If you are ordering off the “American Chinese” section, please don’t leave a review. This place has awesome SICHUAN food.
I'm not Asian so I'm not going to claim that it's "authentic Sichuan". However I did live in the far east for several years so I can tell the difference between good Chinese food and PF Chang's. What I can say is that I've ordered Chinese food from all over Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Grand Sichuan is c
Incredible food and service! Delicious options, including for vegans!!! I had the mapo tofu, mung bean noodles, eggplant, and green beans and tofu as a vegan! Super friendly and prompt staff and very clean! Will be back soon for more tasty and authentic Sichuanese food!
Simply used google to find a local Chinese place (looked at the food pics too). This place is delicious. I got shrimp with lobster sauce and it’s the first time in all the years of me ordering I had to cut up my shrimp. They were delicious and huge! I was very impressed with them. One star lost caus
One of my favorite take out/delivery places. Be sure to order their fish&tofu, string beans that have wonderful bits of pork, and their fried beef strips that have the perfect balance of spices.
Best Chinese in Brooklyn. Some of it is quite spicy but it is possible to order more moderately spiced dishes too. Love the sweet and sour crispy fish which is vasy superior to any sweet and sour dish you've had before. Also good: the dandan noodles, the pork and pickled cabbage soup, the smoked t
Can't believe there's a Sichuan restaurant in Bay Ridge. This restaurant is amazing! Try the red cooked pork belly and the dan dan noodles. I can't recommend this place enough!
We order from Grand Sichuan fairly often. We are big Chinese food aficionados. Last night we ordered spareribs, Salt and pepper shrimp, Crystal shrimp dumplings, Cold sesame noodles, eggplant in garlic sauce and Young Chow fried rice. Seriously one of the best meals I have ever had.
So awesome to have a legit Sichuan place in Bay Ridge! The Eggplant in Basil, Dan Dan noodles, Garlic Cucumbers, Braised fish w/ Napa Cabbage are all favorites and I could eat them every day! Service is always excellent and they are an awesome family business. Highly recommend for folks who love spi
Excellent food. Authentic, tasty and delicious. The service was prompt, staff was friendly and attentive. We got dan dan noodles, wonton in red hot chili oil, duck with string beans and beef chow fun. We both agreed it was so good and most importantly, authentic. The dan dan noodles were bouncy, che
It's places like this that make New York a food lovers paradise. For years I had walked by, unimpressed with the storefront until someone told me how good the food was. That was 7 years ago and I never go more than a month without ordering at least 4 of their dishes. This is Sichuan cooking that
