Ok, so this was the most fun I've had in a while!!! Really well decorated and great ambience. Food was simple, affrordable, and excellent. We went for Sunday brunch. Service was fantastic, everyone very friendly. And the show was enyertaining with lots of audience participation. Because it is,a small place, all of us patrons connected and totally enjoyed ourselves. Its a bit different, not your ordinary joint. Loved it.
Had a lot of fun visiting this unique bar. The drinks were great and had spunky names and the show we watched was lively and kinky. Admittedly, we're a little desensitized to what "hardcore" is since we're no strangers to the scene here in South Florida, but it was great to watch the performers put on their shows.
Very unique cocktails, friendly staff, and amazing drag shows! Everything I want from a queer bar in Bushwick :) Have been a few times but I will definitely be back for more shows!
From burlesque to boylesque, strip show and sexy basement parties, Concerts, Dj parties, reggae, ska, punk, rock, pop bizarre is the place to go if you want to have a good time in the neighborhood, GREAT FOOD UNTILL 11PM, QUINOA SALAD AND BEEF TACOS are amazing, cocktail menu is awesome, i recommend the cosmic debris with spicy tequila, staff is very nice, the shows are unique, definitely a LGBTQ friendly environment, right off Myrtle & Broadway.
10/10🏴
Wow! What a great night we just had at this spot.
From the service to the food! Friendly manager & staff (our waitress Jen was SO sweet!!) Delicious food.. we had the tater tots, oxtail, lobster pasta & wings! Can't wait to come back, really enjoyed our night here. Highly recommend!!
Love this dimly lit yet colorful spot. Drinks are good and reasonable. Food is pricey gentrified prices but very good.
The events they have are on cue for our generation and are usually pretty dope to get you outta the house.
The art gallery downstairs sometimes features good local artists always worth a peek.
The bartenders have always been friendly and down to earth always made me feel comfortable even when I visited alone or was waiting for a friend.
Good job y'all.
We held our holiday party here and we were treated like royalty. A great Brooklyn hang out with an excellent staff and the extras were very exciting and energetic. The cocktails and food were delicious and delivered in a timely fashion. I look forward to my next experience at Bizarre.
Fun place. Apparently they have brunch, and they also have a stage. We went at an odd time around 3 30 just for drinks and good music. And they had mimosas pitchers and.... absinthe pitchers 😲 Unfortunately I haven't tried the food there, but the staff was nice, the drinks were good (and wine is on the menu for the wine lovers) and the place looks like it has good shows. Definitely it is a place to check out also in the evening. I will update if I go there again.
I've been going to bizarre for awhile now and they never disappoint on living up to their name. The drinks are a little pricey but the bar makes up for it in atmosphere. It can be a little quiet some nights but when things get going they really get going. I highly recommend if you're tired of the average bar scene
Went for a burlesque night here and couldn't be more pleased. Amazing DJing, great performers, good drinks (especially the absinthe ones!), and overall super dope aesthetic and layout. Will definitely be back!
Chill atmosphere and delicious food, I caught one of the variety shows hosted by, I believe, Divina Grandsparkle. The show had me feeling everything from shock to laughter, while the staff working the bar had my drinks and food ready quickly. The place was clean and everyone was polite and friendly. I'll definitely be catching another show here the next time I'm in town.!
Very cool venue with great vibes and fun people. The DJs played some trippy trance that was really fun to dance to. This spot is definitely worth checking out. The only downside is there is only one unisex bathroom. I didn't get a chance to eat here, but the menu looked great too.
We walked in off the street after a long day of walking around Manhattan. Unbeknownst to us there was a burlesque show and screening of a local art groups show series. My wife and I ordered a few drinks, which were great, good selection of drinks. We ordered and appetizer as well, nothing crazy, just a pumpkin toast with ricotta and honey but it was very good. I would definitely go back if I were to be in the area again. The workers, patrons and people putting on the show's were extremely nice, which is always great being an non-local.
Great local bar with friendly staff
I was not able to see a performance as my friend and I had to leave minutes before they started. The place is spacious and cozy and attracts a hip crowd. Tried their craft brew and liked it. Food choices are rather limited.
Fun events, brunch, and burlesque shows in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Great place to come with a date or a group of friends, but the table layout doesn't lend itself well to making new friends.
If you're looking for a place to cheer you up, there is literally no better place in all of New York City. So much beauty, talent and good times here. Food and beers are extremely affordable and the staff I always insanely nice. Love this place!
