Dropped by for some eats and a drink after playing golf at nearby Dyker Beach. Wings were awesome especially the dry rub. Tons of great selections for beer. I had the strawberry harvest and yes-it did have a trace of strawberries on the back end. My buddies loved the food also-the chilli is to die for. All in all a great choice no matter the day or time. We will be back soon !!!

Love this place! The veggie dogs are awesome, and the topping selection is great. They are always really nice too, and the place has a warm and down to earth feel. I highly recommend checking this place out, and will be visiting again soon : )

Try the fried pickles- they are coated with “everything”, like an everything bagel! Hot wings, raspberry fries and fries with bacon chunks and ranch�
The food no matter wat u order is great their wings r the best ,drinks r good n the staff r very friendly n make u want to keep comming back there it's one great place to enjoy ur self it's five star 4 me !!!
I always wanted to come here and when I did it was a surprise birthday party for me waiting, amazing staff, amazing owner, the wings are killer!! And a friendly atmosphere!!

The Von Trapp IPL was extremely hoppy. It also came with a dirndl and a lecherous, elderly widower. The hot dogs were terrific, ditto the fried Brussel sprouts. The cheese fries were good while they were hot; pothole filler when they cooled off. Wait staff was very nice and very quick. The bartender had a huge beard. No one played Freebird.

Great spot. Good selection of beers and ciders on tap and all sorts of great dive food to go with it. Last trip we ordered the pirogi, mozzarella sticks, and the buffalo cauliflower. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious. I want to try their veggie dogs next time I go back.
Atmosphere is great. The staff are super friendly and we made plenty of friends at the bar with no problems. There's a bunch of TV's with different games and a great outdoor space. Hands down it's our new favorite bar in the neighborhood.

Americana ambience and bar food with a slight and pleasantly surprising spin on the norm. Stopped in one afternoon with the kids after a trip to Panda and was surprised at the simple menu that made me want one of everything. Also very accommodating and fair amount of options regarding dairy free. We ordered burgers, dogs, fries and pretzels (which I can't find on the online menu). I can't praise the burgers enough. As a native of Dyker Heights and a regular in Bay Ridge, I have found it harder and harder to find a good burger but this spot is right on the money. The flavor profile of the dogs was right on and the pretzel was just as good as my homemade German pretzels. Whether there's are made in house I don't know but they are good. I loved the ambiance, music is classic rock, 90's alternative, that kind of vibe and occasionally have live bands. While I wouldn't take my kids here on a Friday night, definitely great for an early family dinner or possibly even a weekend lunch. I walked by this place many times and never thought much of it but I was more than pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back. Prices are also very reasonable. Reason I gave 4 stars is I'm not a big fan of the potato bun and there was a hair in my food.
Excellent spot for some beers and bar food. I tried the hot mess w friends and it was start. I also tried the fried pickles. Nice selection of beers. They have outdoor seating which is nice now that summer is around the corner. Check it out it's a cool spot!
I came here yesterday for the first time for lunch. Everything was great. The food was really good...especially the Fried Brussel Sprout appetizer. The back area was set up nicely were I was very comfortable and warm. My server Jack was very attentive and friendly. Since we are living in COVID times all the tables are perfectly distanced and they provide hand sanitizer for the customers. I will definitely be back 👍.
Found this place accidentally and I'm so glad I did. Loved this bar!!! Their rum punch is attractively strong. Staff are more than friendly. Prices are fair for Bay Ridge. The entire front of the bar opens up for the nice weather and they have a huge outdoor bar and seating in the back! They even have patio heaters in the winter. The music is someone's phone playing but it was perfect! A little bit of every genre. My new favorite bar

Awesome place to relax and eat. They have amazing appetizers such as sweet potato tater tots and ranch/bacon fries. The hot dogs are awesome too and their craft beer menu changes from time to time to keep things interesting. They have an outdoor area in the back and on certain nights you can do trivia! Highly recommended.
Great outdoor bar, better music! Found this place on google maps and I did not regret! My girlfriend and her friend enjoyed themselves a lot. Very friendly servers and an abundance of beer choices. Your bathroom experience will be a unique one at lock yard. 1) Do not look for doors that have your typical 'men' or 'women' signs, instead look for doors that say 'water closet'. 2) the walls inside the bathrooms are plastered with news and magazine clippings from the 1900s only about picking locks on doors and cars. We did not order any food, but I'm betting their food is great too. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Decent spot located in bay ridge. Some classic tasting bar food with a good selection of brew. Nice outdoor space in the back but trivia night could be a little better organized. However the crowd and neighborhood feel more than makes up for it.
Came out from Staten Island to meet a Brooklyn friend. Lock Yard turned out to be the perfect spot. Good beer, nice people, old-fashioned tasty grill food. Sign behind the bar said "No Jerks" and it turned out to be true.
The grill is killer (I’m vegan), and the bartender is awesome. Love this place.
One of my go-to spots with great dogs, a deep but not pretentious rotating beer list, and awesome atmosphere. Outdoor section is lovely (still warm in the winter), great for big events, and the menu is focused without a bad item in the bunch. Vegan options available too!

I stumbled on this bar just looking for a cold beer and got so much more. I left wanting to go into business with these guys. The staff is awesome, food is outstanding! I have a special place in my heart for hot dogs, but also had fried Brussel sprouts and fell in love. I’m bringing everyone I know here. Can’t wait for next time.
This is a really great craft beer place. They have hot dogs, hamburgers, fried things and some really great chicken wings with a sweet chili sauce. The staff is super friendly and they have a nice backyard. A fun place to spend a lazy afternoon.
Really great food here, like... surprisingly so. We grabbed 3 different hot dogs, a hot mess and an order of bacon ranch fries the other day. Everything was terrific. Like... the hot dog itself is a REALLY GOOD HOT DOG.
