Frank's is a Brooklyn treasure. Things you need to know: cheap, cash only, live entertainment, jukebox, red booths, great bartenders, zany regulars, and good times. Oh, and get a good look at the ceiling above the bar...
Nice vibe friendly service karaoke every Wednesday
I love this place!
The music & atmosphere was amazing. A group of us went there for an impromptu birthday after party & the house music by Herb Martin was stellar!!!
I'd go back for the house music alone. The staff was very attentive & friendly & the crown was really relaxed. No issues. Dress is reg
Cool spot, nothing fancy. Furniture is a little beat up however, you can tell itโs a spot thatโs been there for a long time. Great music, strong drinks, cool crowd. Drinks not expensive considering the surrounding area. Will definitely be back
This place was really cool. Perfect for many age groups. I went on an open mic night and the vibe was so chill. Sounds system is decent but could be improved. Bathrooms were.. they could be cleaner. I'll be back. I think they let you bring food. Fair amount of seating. Come for cool vibes and mixed
Amazing the people there were friendly. Prices are normal for NYC but that's expensive 2 drinks 20bucks. That's harsh on a budget. But people were kind and nice so theres that. As black man I find great comfort in going in places not being judge right away this place was good.
Great vibe, nice staff and DJ is amazing. A gem of its kind where the DJ always has throwbacks and the latest hits. The crowd can at times be on the mature side but once the music is on everyone is having a good time! Drinks are average.
Fantastic, cosy bar that has a warm and friendly vibe. Bar staff are great and the place comes alive when it's karaoke night! Expect brilliant music all night - it caters to a slightly older crowd.
I was looking for a place to hang out for my husband's 34th birthday and found this place online. I read the reviews and it seemed good. We got there around 9:30, place was a little empty but staff was very welcoming, even ushering us to a private table that wasn't even booked. The waitress catered
I think this is a great neighborhood bar with a Cheers feel! I feel like everyone knows your name there! Great music, friendly people, and great prices for drinks! What more can you ask for? I will definitely return!
Mind you i have only been to this place twice. First time the dance floor was packed. Super busy. Second time minimal bodies in the bar *BTW GREAT MUSIC AND DJ* no dancing minus the folks in my group. On a Friday. Good chill spot. Older crowd low key no drama. The drinks are on point. I had a shot a
I loved this place! It's a little busted and you kind of feel like you're a few decades in the past, but I mean that in a good way... that's my favorite kind of bar. It has a nice mix of people, it's fun for people-watching. Plus there was a jazz band with a jazz flutist playing, which is always co
Frank's is sooooo litt, like everyone knows about those nights at Frank's,,the drinks are great,,the people that come to party make u feel like family ,,the music is for everyone, and upstairs has that upbeat House music. If u ever walk by Frank's on a Friday night stop in , you won't regret it.๐ฏโ๏ธ๐ A
Out of nowhere a group of people can walk in and make the night...
Service with a smile. On a personal note, I came tnite because my brother frequented this place and he passed today. As this lounge was also recommended by a special few others. I Like that!
Nice staff, good prices. But, cash only, and music cuts out for 5-7 minutes at time (at least when I visited and the waitress had to keep visiting the juke). Overall decent time here but have not been to any events. Would visit again regardless.
Still a great locale. Friday nights features TEAM ACE'S DJ ACE on the 1's & 2's on the main floor. Upstairs provides HOUSE MUSIC ๐ ๐ต ALL NITE LONG with weekly guest DJ.
Went there after Moe's on a Wed night. I hadn't been to Franks in years. Just looking for something else to do. Well, i arrived there at around 7:30 did not leave until 12. I had the best time. The free food was good and the drinks on time. Straight neighborhood feel with a little throwback. Good
If you're into soul music, this is a surprising venue for it. I wouldn't expect it, but there's often events, CD release parties, etc. I went to events for Bilal, Robert Glasper, and more.
The drinks are a bit overpriced, but where aren't they anymore? Cool spot to check out.
