The food is amazing, service was top notch considering it was Mother's Day, and the food comes out quickly too. The Shrimp tempura and shrimp wrapped in potato slices (can't remember the actual name) so delicious. The wings had great seasoning and cooked perfectly (not dry) and the marinated spare rib tips were delicious as well. I highly recommend their food.
The food is ok but pricy and the service is bad.
The lady owner is very rude and shouldn't be in the business that deal with customers. I could always find another place to eat.
Loved it. Food was delicious. Service was great :-)
I always love good food! This is the one I like it!

Great authentic Japanese food! Love this place!! Will keep going back.
It taste really good. The waiters are really nice. I'll be sure to come here again.
Incredible food. UNI is super fresh. Great staff. Excellent service. 2 thumbs way up....
Eat in - ordered π. It's good. The chilli oil compliment the noodles greatly, to my surprise. So if you order noodles next time, do ask them for the chilli oil. I was surprised by the internal temperature of the π₯ after a bite in to it. It's cold βοΈ. Never had it cold before in π . I was informed this is how they served their eggs. βοΈ.
Theres a hugeee selection to choose from! Definitely worth going. Limited seating however.
My go to order is their stuffed squid appetizer, and their "Best seller roll combo". The dishes arrive fast.. a bit too fast. Service is quick, efficient, but friendliness is a hit or miss, depending on the waiter. Interesting decor.
Happy to report DINE IN IS BACK
Generous portions of fresh fish at a reasonable price. Fast service.
Got 2 party sushi platters for pick up.
While it was good and priced great, the sushi was subpar.
The platters look very yummy and colorful but it's not the best sushi I've had. Also, they don't allow substitution for the platter even with paying the price difference.
Ordered so much food. Menu is pretty big with selections off the walls too. Not truly an authentic japanese restaurant but then the twist of the items are great. So definently worth coming.
Very good ramen and sushi restaurant. Warning it's a tight narrow restaurant so expect to wait to be seated. Staffs usually only speak Chinese and very little english but they nice and friendly. Atmosphere feels comfortable and cozy. Overall great food and place here.
New menu is fantastic, only offer takeout now, but much more Hong Kong style chooses from kitchen. Still my favorite neighborhood restaurant
This is a pretty good Japanese restaurant in the neighbor. Recently, they started to make HK style food. Overall, it is not bad. Most of the customers here order sushi and seafood don instead.
Excellent food, should have clear direction for the customer how to place orders. Only have a tiny window at the edge of the wall and the cashier rarely stay on it to ask or give instructions for awaiting customer, should have 5 stars, until it approved their service. Update, food excellent as before, didn't have sit down, take out only. Able to order ahead of time, a plus. Update on 4/4/23 table sitting are available, food are remaining tasty and excellent. Very busy, should order ahead to avoid wait time. Update on 8/9/23, have sit in, maintaining the food quality. Keep it up.
Really love how authentic the sushi taste. Some stores charge normal prices but taste like sushi from a buffet, longevousjoy is not like that. The sushi here was nothing i ever experience before. Their ramen/noodle menu is delicious, full of flavor! The bloody hell beef noodle, dont really remmeber the name was so delicious! There is one thing for sushi lovers who dont like fishy smell. Longevousjoy preserves the natural flavor of the fish. So you will taste the fish to the fullest extent, which could be a good and bad thing for some. Sashimi boat is great here, pretty small!
Service here is great, not the best. I came here for the food so that wasn't really my concern!
It also gets very packed in the evening, so expect waiting.
The bento boxes aren't very expensive at all. They're around $6 but they're very filling in my opinion. There's rice, a sushi roll, chicken, and your entree. The staff is really nice as well. Good for how inexpensive it is. There are a lot more other Japanese choices on the menu as well.
My top 1 Japanese restaurant in NYC since when I was in high school.
Reasonable prices for all.
Great service always ;)
They have the best takoyaki in NYC!! (Better to try it out in the morning, because they are so busy right now, so they need to cook all the takoyaki in the morning for the day)
