The food and drink is absolutely delicious, a great place to meet up with friends and have a great time. The outside or beer garden is a plus!

Overall the food was good but just a tad bit pricey. We got the Alcapurrias, pernil, pork chops with rice and gandules. The rice was our least favorite thing we ate. Could have used a bit more flavor.

Delicious authentic Puerto Rican food. The attentiveness of our waitress was impressive. Regardless if you’re going in for a full meal or maybe some quick bites and drinks you won’t be disappointed.

Great vibe and music.. Frozen drinks were amazing.. ..However, I'm puerto rican & other Puerto Ricans will agree..if you have a mofongo with sauce, we would appreciate it with a little courtesy side of rice (without adding on the bill as a whole order) I'm just saying tho.. Thumbs up if you agree 👍🏽

Food and service was great! Not too crazy about the way the mofongo was made it wasn’t traditional but none the less it was really good! Highlight was the morir soñando cocktail and the alcapurrias sooo good!

It's always a pleasure to come back to Norwinds and have our Henny Sangria, but the Sangria wasn't frozen this time. I was a little disappointed, but the food didn't disappoint.

A bit pricy (drinks were expensive), but when I speak of this place, it is with the highest regards. My fiancé and I were in the mood for something that reminded us of PR. To our amazement and delight, this place came across google near our hotel. We enjoyed the time, music and of course… the FOOD! We will call it little Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. A taste of home away from home. Mofongo was my highlight and the Alcapurrias was his. If you do go, enjoy!

The food and drinks were amazing! To start, my family & I had the Isla Platter (appetizers) carne frita, emapnadas, tostones, bacalaitos and alcapurrias.....perfect way to explore a little of everything. I had the Jibaroto (steak sandwich in between two fried plantains. See pict below). Every family member ordered something different (see picts below) and they all loved their dishes. The dessert was equally delicious (Flancocho). We went around August when the weather was still nice so we had an opportunity to visit their back yard/outside setting. This is a place I will return to.

On Flushing Avenue in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, lies a Puerto Rican restaurant called Norwinds. Google Maps says it’s a funky Puerto Rican cafe. I guess it could be considered funky, maybe it’s the neighborhood. I decided on the Hiberito sandwich even before I arrived based on a google picture. Instead of bread, they use two broad pieces of fried plantain and put strips of steak with lettuce, tomato and their special sauce in between. Unique and delicious. In the Age of Covid, we ate outside in the new normal of street dining. Melissa was our gracious server who was friendly, patient and efficient. We now have a new go-to spot in Bushwick.

Under the "new norm" rules overall, it was pleasant, the food/drinks were Great. The Manager on staff tonight, Yvonne, was truly on point in her service and customersatisfaction.

Was visiting from London with a few friends and we stumbled across this place one lunchtime. One of the culinary highlights of the trip (and we went to a lot of good places). Really great food - the four of us had different things and were all very satisfied.

Good selection of Spanish/Latin food. The drinks were good, not super strong, but got the job done. I will say there was no variety in the music. It was all Spanish music and different types of Spanish music, but for the time I was there, no other genre of music was played, which was a little bit of a mood killer buy all in all kool little spot

The food is f...... FAntastic!!!! We now make it a habit to go at least once a week. My wife loves it. All we could do was make noises as we were eating. The best meal to get is the platter which gives you a sample of everything. Try them out you won't be disappointed.. Also try out the pina colada with or without liquor it tastes so good.there Entire Menu is great.P.s. someone left a review saying that all they play is spanish music, pardon my french but that's a bunch of bulls... they play everything.!! 10 Stars I Dined in and I ordered out. I even brought my forty ounce cup and ordered three twelve ounce cups of pina colada and I poured it all in my cup and enjoyed it While driving home. OH YEAH and the Philly vheese steak egg rolls are OMG Tasty
