I recommend that you read the menu carefully when you ordered because I had ate a bagel sandwich with something of an ingredient hidden inside that was against my dietary restrictions. So, I have told the clerk my situation and give me a new sandwich for free. She was generous and also cute 😉 I wish I had her number lol. Anyway, I recommend this sandwich it was Egg Bagel with Pastrami, Munster cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoe, and Horseradish sauce.
If you're from out of town (like us), ordering at lunchtime in-between the regulars can be a bit intimidating. They seem to know exactly how they like their sandwiches.
We just got bagels off the menu, and they were delicious!
Daily morning fix here. Anything type of sandwich you want from unique bagels to any type of coffee. My fav is the power wrap. Best to call in advance. At peak hours you can wait from 15 up to 45 minutes. Very busy, but the quality is good enough to keep me going back at least once a week. Very pricy as well, I suggest if you aren't buying a coffee, to grab your drinks elsewhere. Peak time from 830 to 10.
I ordered a burger... a CHEESY SMASHBURGER to be exact (easy enough, right?). Well, I ordered a burger only and received a deluxe special that cost me 100% more than the price I expected to pay. I won't get into the long exhausting story that had me puzzled. I don't know what happened because I've ordered from here before with much success. So... although I had an interesting experience THIS TIME... I am STILL GIVING 5 STARS for the FOOD, SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE. WHY, YOU MAY ASK... ... well... because of JACOB. He was an awesome, fair and uber-professional Gentleman. He rectified the issue by offering to remake my order (perfectly... I might add), offered the item for free (refunding me) and JACOB did all of this with the grace of a ballerina. SO... YEAH... I GAVE 5 STARS ALL AROUND BECAUSE IN THESE MODERN TIMES WHERE THE NOTION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LOST ON MANY-A-WORKER.... LA BAGEL... JACOB IN PARTICULAR KNOWS WHAT TO DO TO GET AND KEEP A CUSTOMER. Thanks again Jacob!! :o) **p.s. THE CHEESY SMASHBURGER WAS RIDICULOUSLY DELISH BY THE WAY!!! ;oD
Went for a quick bagel bite and mannnn, it was YUMMMYYY! Best bagel I've had since being in NY. The service was fast and friendly. Place looked clean and neat as well. I like mine extra toasty with cream cheese. Got it just the way I like it. They have a variety of bagels and cream cheeses. Ordered garlic bagel with regular cream cheese and another everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. I was told that was awesome as well. They have muffins and they looked soo tempting to buy just by looking at them. They were nice a fat! Lol. Maybe next time. Overall, you definitely should check this place out!!
The bagels here is amazing and the service is great too. They have a wonderful menu selection and the service staff are the best.
Got a BLT on a garlic bagel and it was delicious😍 The place was crowded and I was a little confused on how to pay and get my food but the sandwich quality was honestly top tier
The mini bagel breakfast sandwiches are good.. best to go after the morning rush because it gets pretty crowded
On this rainy day in Brooklyn, La Bagel was perfect for carry out and way better than the hotel.
The bagel was ok but the cream cheese is good
Great service and great bagels! Thank you
This may not show up as a tourist bagel stop but.. the bagels are GOOD! They make them fresh every morning, a little bit of crispness on the outside with a big doughy bagel on the inside -- the ideal bagel structure!
It's delicious and deserves better than a 4.2 rating
Half the cost of Smith Street bagels and half as good. Bagel was fresh and maintain a soft fluffiness even after toasting. They have lots of drink and menu options. High traffic, quick service.
