My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday so we both walked in and there was plenty of seating available. Of course the starter is salad and bread both good options. For appetizer we started off with calamari and this pretty much filled us up. The portion was huge more for 3 people. I got mushroom fettuccine and my daughter ordered the broccoli and shrimp fettuccini. I haven’t been to Olive Garden in years but the food tasted pretty generic like frozen dinners. This was a bummer. With the portions being so big we had plenty to wrap up and take home but didn’t even eat it. If I do go back I would order one plate and share it.

Title: A Casual Yet Romantic Italian Dining Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting the Olive Garden at 505 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11239, has always felt like a culinary journey to our memories of more specific, happier times. As long-time patrons, my wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years and have watched our children grow up enjoying its splendid Italian-American menu. From the moment we pull into their spacious parking lot - which has never given us trouble in finding a quick spot - to the point we step into the cozy, Tuscan-inspired interior, Olive Garden has remained a beacon of consistent quality, service, and a relaxed ambiance. On busier days, the full-sized bar provides a comfortable waiting area for our table to be ready. There's something uniquely relaxing about sipping a drink and watching TV while anticipating the mouthwatering meal that lies ahead - it truly enhances the overall dining experience. As we walked in on the evening of July 4th, 2023, we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of waiting time. This prompt seating experience only further elevated our anticipation for the evening. Seated comfortably in a booth, the soft music playing in the background set a romantic yet casual tone to our dinner. Our dinner started with the appetizing Shrimp Fritto Misto - a generous portion of hand-breaded shrimp, onions, and bell peppers, perfectly fried and served with marinara and spicy ranch. The Pasta E Fagioli soup that followed served with the Olive Garden's signature breadsticks, was comforting, flavorful, and hearty. The star of our meal was, without a doubt, the Chicken Parmigiana. Two lightly fried parmesan-breaded chicken breasts smothered in homemade marinara and Italian cheeses created a satisfying main course that was simply irresistible. My wife and I both opted for this dish, with her substituting the side of spaghetti and sauce with Fettuccine Alfredo - a choice that she found to be quite gratifying. Our sweet ending came with the decadent Tiramisu paired with a cappuccino for myself while my wife indulged in the delicious Sicilian Cheesecake with a strawberry topping and a coffee. As always, the desserts at Olive Garden were the perfect final touch to a delightful meal. Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive, and prompt. After we settled into our booth, our sodas were served quickly, and the staff was more than willing to accommodate my wife's substitution request. That being said, we miss the pizza offerings Olive Garden discontinued around 2017. As fans of Italian cuisine, we believe that pizza has its place in an Italian restaurant, and its absence on the menu is noticeable. This Olive Garden location, established in 1999, has been serving its signature Italian-American dishes with commitment and flair. Despite some mixed reviews online, our personal experience has always been positive, and we stand by this establishment's high quality of food, service, and ambiance. Whether you're a fan of unlimited breadsticks, crave the creamy Alfredo sauce, or simply looking for a relaxed dining experience, Olive Garden at Gateway NYC provides an inviting atmosphere that brings the spirit of Italy right into the heart of Brooklyn. While we do hope for the return of their pizza offerings, this doesn't detract from the excellent dining experience that the restaurant consistently provides. From our numerous recent visits, we can confidently say that the Olive Garden at Gateway NYC is a great place to enjoy a high-quality meal without breaking the bank. After all, it's not just about the food - it's about the memories you make while dining there. From the bottom of our hearts, we give the Olive Garden a well-deserved five stars at 505 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11239.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the bartender was really friendly. The staff know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. There was a major delay in getting our food. (50 minutes wait) Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

Olive Garden itself is known for its inviting atmosphere and delicious food, but our server Jayla elevated our visit to a whole new level. On Friday night my family and I decided to have dinner at Olive Garden. From the moment we walked in, her warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an enjoyable evening. Once we were seated, she went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. Her attentiveness was impeccable, from offering insightful menu recommendations to promptly addressing any requests we had. It was evident that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of her guests. What stood out the most was Jayla's genuine friendliness. She not only provided outstanding service but also engaged with us in a way that made the entire dining experience feel personal and memorable. It's rare to find such a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Our family left with smiles on our faces, grateful for the wonderful evening she helped create. Without a doubt, this deserves a resounding five-star rating. Kudos to Jayla for making our night truly special!

I used to go to Olive Garden probably once a month 2001-2010 with the family. It was a lovely place to go. It declined after that, we went less often, the menu changed, and then we just stopped. Fast Fwd to the 202X and feelings of nostalgia creep back in... Remember the salad and the bruschetta, the stuffed mushrooms? Now the menu is mostly fried or baked stuff, just heavy. The drinks are better, fruitier it seems, the salad is still great (why so few tomatoes) and the soups were tempting... Entrees were fine... I want to re-discover this chain. I hope they recapture the magic. This location was well kept, and clean. Staff seemed to wander, only 2 x people were actually working, but 4 others were wandering. That's the new normal I guess.

My friend and I went there to have lunch before going back to work. It was not crowded. The service was fast. The never ending soup salad and breadsticks was awesome. The Raspberry lemonade was good. They have parking. For indoor dining you must show vaccine card and ID.

Everything we ate was flavorful from the appetizer to the entrees. My Italian Margarita and the Black Russian drinks were good too, not watered down at all. Service was fast and everything was brought to us in good timing between appetizer and Entree.

Great service by our server Werley! He really paid attention to us and was quick on the refill of drinks and very pleasant to speak with. The Service Manager Holly came over to see if we were okay and enjoying ourselves which was nice. The food as always in all my experiences was fresh and tasty! I always love the Tour of Italy and my husband had the never ending pasta bowl which was great for him with so many combinations! The iced tea flavored and flavored lemonades did not dissapoint either. They were fruity and delicious! Also this is the only restaurant I will eat the calamari and the salad and breadsticks are a great start to the meal. I love the strawberry cream cake and the presentation they do for a birthday! Delicious and satisfying!

Post COVID everywhere is empty, it shouldn't be this way the food was good, and the service was laid back and chill similar to the feel of the place. I enjoy the meal and company atmosphere 😌

It was a Friday night. We joined the wait list via the app, so the wait time was not too long when we arrived. Parking was also available. The ambience was nice and welcoming. Perfect for a date or family/friends meal. Our server was friendly and readily available. The drinks were good. The breadsticks were soft and warm. The free salad was delicious. The food portions were perfect and yummy. The pasta is always more than one person could eat in one sitting, so I got half of my dinner to go. Always look for specials online (read the fine print and conditions/restrictions). We bought $5 meals to go. We were able to sit and talk after paying without anyone hinting at us to leave.

Went for the never-ending pasta bowl. Usually, it's spectacular. It was great this time, but they skimmed out on the sauces after the 1st round of pasta. The Alfredo sauce with the breadsticks always hits the spot.
