Wanisa home Kitchen offers a great delicious variety of dishes combined with a friendly staff.
We found this place by accident, while browsing the area for a spontaneous dinner. They offer a heated and covered outdoor space. Especially these cold winter it is great to be aware of such a place.
They offer a wide variety of thai dishes. Besides traditional dishes they also have their own creations, which I loved.
We had as an appetizer the Crispy Fried Tofu. A delicious start for our meal.
I ordered as an entree their duck soup special (Sorry I forgot the name 😅). I asked them if they could substitute the duck meat with their vegeterian alternative. It was no problem and tastes amazing.
Our waitress Natto was all the time friendly and supportive. At the end we even chatted a little bit about Thailand. He has some great tips for your next Thailand journey (once traveling is possible)
All over Wanisa Home Kitchen was a great experience and I'll definitely come back.
I'm from Seattle, and I grew up with amazing Thai food all around me. Ever since I moved to Brooklyn, I've been searching for a place half as good as the ones I grew up with, but most places have disappointed.
Then I ordered from Wanisa Home Kitchen. When I got my first order, I was so blown away I immediately texted a friend letting them know I'd just eaten the best Pad Thai I'd had in New York (and I've had a lot, mostly in Brooklyn to be fair). I loved it so much I ordered from there again the next day and got the green curry. Again, a home run. Portions are huge, and spicy means spicy — not something to take for granted in this city. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
I had a superb experience at this place. We liked the amazing environment and the food. The staff were very welcoming. I am content we ultimately decided to try this restaurant.
