We have been going to Barrel 55 for a year now and they have never disappointed. We have dined in, ordered takeout, and ordered a cake for a special occasion. We used to have to drive to Dubois for better food. Now we don’t have to every time we want something that is delicious and fresh. The portions are more than enough. Sometimes there can be a wait during dinner rush, but that should be expected for any restaurant with quality food.

My boyfriend and I went here this past weekend and we were not disappointed. He got the bourbon barbecue burger and I got the smoked gouda bacon burger. Both were great and the bourbon barbecue sauce was so good I would get that as a dipping sauce for my fries next time. Do not forget to go to the bakery where they have a wonderful variety to choose from. After selecting a few bakery items our fantastic server Allie boxed it all and rang us up. We will definitely be back!

We went to the one counter bakery, but what was in that counter was amazing. We had Long John donuts (custard filling) chocolate and sprinkles on top. The Lady cream horn, which were phenomenal. There were other selections as well and I'm sure they are just as tasty. The restaurant (bbq)wasn't busy, but it was early afternoon, if they serve food anything like what the bakery sells...look out!! We will have to try it next time we are in town.

Great restaurant! Food is above average and the menu in general offers dishes you won't find at other local places. Like the Seafood Pasta I had tonight with mussels, shrimp and scallops.... soooo good! Reservations are recommended. They fit us in without one, but the place was jumping!

Great food! American fair with a sophisticated twist, the menu features things like figs, goat cheese, and roasted garlic rosemary infused aioli. I had Chicken Ciabatta, the basil pesto was amazing. Again 4/5 because of ranch dressing. It's runny. Worth going there again though, if just for the espresso and bakery.

A real gem in Brookville! Great menu, delicious food and cocktails, friendly and attentive service. The take home option for the extensive dessert case is dangerous!

This was a great little place. We had scallops which are typically tricky to cook but they were done perfectly. The bartender was terrific. She offered us a pumpkin bourbon cinnamon cider sangria and it sounds scary but it was really good. They have a bakery and coffee shop as well
