The burger was very tasty, but there were no fries. A bag of potato chips doesn't go well with a good burger. The burger is "kid-meal" size and it's their defining theme, so maybe two burgers would be more filling for some or 2x or 3x the meat. It's worthwhile to plan a visit, if you can!

You've heard of a hole in the wall, but have you heard of a hole between the walls!? This historic burger joint was built in 1922 in a tiny alley! Don't eat here if you claustrophobic lol or maybe just get it to go, but the burgers are quaint. You can easily eat 2 or 3 of their double cheeseburgers.
100 yeard old burger joint, you don't find that everyday. Loved them little burgers, patties were seasoned just right, edges were crispy, buns were firm, loved them. You have to try it when you come down to Brownsville

One of the historic places in town. Nearly 100 years in operation. Menu: burgers, chips (bagged) and sodas (cans). Burgers are all same size, the variables are: cheese, ham, # of patties. Limited seating due to the places unusual size, but service is fairly quick.
Your quintessential hole in the wall spot! Excellent hanburgers since 1922 on the American side of the border. Make sure you order 2 burgers, they are like sliders. Definitely make sure you stop there!
This is literally a hole in the wall that for 100 years have been selling good, small burgers. The soft drinks were very cold and the service was fast. The female taking the orders was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was different and enjoyable. Will be returning for sure.
Definitely has that French quarter vibe . The burgers were delicious and priced fairly... the small sized chips and canned drinks were a little pricey but it's all part of the experience. The service could be improved, Wait time was long and order was mixed up but again in fairness it was a weekend
