Stop right there!
Don’t give it a second thought, run don’t walk to Red Lobster.
Easily accessible off the expressway with ample parking.
I haven’t visited Red Lobster in over a year, and as I sit here writing this review, I’m kicking myself for not going more often.
The server Hugo was accommodating and gracious.
The booth was comfortable and the food was superb.
My mom and I shared the family crab feast. Yes, the crab feast for a family of four. That just goes to show how much we love crab, and traveling to Brownsville from port Isabel for this crab feast was well worth it. The crab was seasoned with garlic and butter to perfection. Cooked expertly so it was easy to eat. The crab meat was luscious to say the least.
My hubs had the never ending shrimp and he absolutely devoured the shrimp Alfredo. I had a taste and the pasta was al dente and the Alfredo sauce was velvety.
My little brother had a steak and lobster tail which was the Wednesday special. He commented that the steak was perfectly cooked and judging by the was he gobbled down the lobster tail, he loved that too.
Even the sides were amazing.
Bacon topped macaroni, crispy sweet and tangy Brussels sprouts and baked potatoes with all the fixings.
And of course there’s no need to mention the awesome cheddar biscuits, you already know how good they are!
So take it from us, a family who lives on the coast with a family history of shrimpers, crabbers and oyster men, Red Lobster is amazing. It’s still as good as you remember. Go back home, you won’t regret it.

Very friendly and courteous staff. The manager stopped by and asked if everything was OK and if we needed anything else.
Food we enjoyed it. It was a little after lunch and not many people.
Excellent service, excellent food. The salmon bowl was surprisingly good with the crispy brussel sprouts.
The sirloin steak is tasty, if a little salty. The cheese cake and brownie overload desserts were fun to share.
Favorites including the unlimited shrimp with eight choices.
Went for lunch around 12:10 PM. Our server Troy was very good at taking our order and came back several times to check on us. I had the coconut shrimp brussel sprouts and broccoli all of which was very good.. My other party had seafood platter and enjoyed it very much.
Celebrated our 27th anniversary @ Red Lobster and our waitress gave us a very pleasant service. The food was delicious and well served. Best service we've had in a while.
Great service!!! We had been there previously and they have improved tremendously. Food was great too, don’t give them the 5 stars because I wish they had fresh oysters, other than that great flavor!
Red Lobster was good I had me a NY Strip steak with mashed potatoes and a ceaser salad my steak was cooked just as I ordered. My spouse enjoyed his meal as well he had the Ultimate Feast plate and some coconut shrimp. Waiter was on point great service.
Red Lobster brings me back memories of the classic restaurants, you definitely get that vibe in this place. Waitress was great with our orders, we did have a different wine, but the exchanged it fairly quickly. The food was great, taste was awesome. Our favorite has got to be the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer.
The reason for the 4 stars is the proportion, the crab and lobster seemed very small compared to what you pay. I believe I got an ultimate feast, but the crab seemed skinny/thin, and the lobster seemed undersized. I don't even think it was a Maine lobster, maybe a spiny lobster (I don't remember what the menu described it to be though).
Overall a good time, we were satisfied with the taste of the food, and the bread was great as I remembered it.
Great service, great food, ordered the Baja shrimp bowl and the Kung pao shrimp pasta, it was delicious. Clean, and fast service, totally recommend.
Delicious platters as always!!! Definitely score the Ultimate Seafood/Lobsterfest Platters when your at Red Lobster. I've never had a bad experience at Red Lobster however the portions on the regular plates seem to have gotten a bit leaner.

Just fantastic from the food quality to the cooks to the wait staff all are very good at what they do. Endless shrimp is awesome and a great value
Vintage feel in this location was a nice change from the modern feeling in the few remaining restaurants of this once popular chain.
I had rainbow trout baked with a ceasers salad and baked potato accompanied with a 20 oz blue moon citrus beer.
It was quiet and clean, our server was efficient and the shift manager checked in to see if we were satisfied.
Service was timely and courteous and the meal was a good value.

Food and service is decent. I really just come here for the cheddar biscuits; they're so good. Good variety of drinks and they don't skimp on the alcohol
