Famously great selection of delicious food items served in a clean, efficient cafeteria environment. Friendly staff except for cashier. Great manager, who quickly appeared when I had a question for the cashier about my bill. Amazing 25% discount for military veterans!
I went today during lunch and as soon as I walked in employee's welcomed me and asked how I was doing, very cordial! I was able to ask about different dishes and the ladies working the food line were very helpful. I chose the chicken fried steak with fried okra, Mac and cheese and a Texas toast. Food was warm, fresh and tasty. Our table waitress was on top of things and came by several times for drink refills and anything else we needed. Enjoyed my time there.
The Luby's in Sunrise Mall is usually very good. The service is a little hit or miss, but the food is usually pretty good. There are waitstaff, that come to your table once or twice. As far as the atmosphere is concerned, there are a few TVs that are either tuned to sports or news. Other than that the restaurant is very plain. Don't come if you want something fancy. The food is good, it is at a decent price. I have been coming since I was a child, and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I recommend the fried fish, the mashed potatoes and the macaroni and cheese. I always get two dinner rolls, but there is an extra charge for the second one.
Good and bad experience, the waiting line was for more than 45 minutes. I almost got there, and I was told that they did not have any more turkey
So I talked to the manager and I got Mt turkey plate.
Went for lunch and dinner same day and was attended by a young man by the name of Diego, boy this young man gives his best in the service he provides. I'm pretty sure this restaurant has a lot of good employees but wish they were all like this young man, He received us with a great smile and continues routes to see if we needed anything. Keep up the great work Diego !!! I highly recommend.
I had a fantastic experience. I brought my girl for a date since it was her first time here, and she loved it. We had 2 waitresses that were very attentive. The food is always very filling and I even had leftovers. Warning it can get pricey once you start going all a la carte. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning to try that chicken fried chicken.
This was a wonderful Thanksgiving day at Luby's. Every employee was nice and many employees were there to help us customers. The food was delicious as always
Been coming here for years! I love Luby’s!! The food here is always fresh and delicious. I took my meal to go and it still taste as great. Every times I come here. I always get the fried fish! I Highly recommend everyone to try it. 😋

Since ownership change, Famous and favorite breaded whitefish fillet.(my favorite for about 54 years is thinner and sometimes over cooked. No more real butter.
Restrooms are no longer spotless.
Other than that everything else is great.
Best truly from scratch food.. No frozen, premade, microwave or heat and serve here..
It's real food for real people.
