Nice family run restaurant. The server was very nice and the food was very good. We ordered chana masala, sweet Lassi, aloo Naan and tandoori roti. Loved all of it. We packed extra for dinner too. We found parking behind the restaurant and also at the beginning of the street- It is beside an Italian restaurant Impasta. Would love to visit again while returning.
We recently got catering done for 30 people for our sons birthday. I am very pleased to tell that the food was catered exactly to our needs. Food was very delicious, ample amount, good quality. Food was delivered on time, very friendly and thoughtful staff. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for big parties catering. They don’t cut corners infact they go extra mile to provide enough chutneys and salads.
Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Absolutely delicious Indian food! Very cozy atmosphere with friendly servers who kept our glasses filled the entire time. We tried some new things we’d never had before and loved every bit of it. Highly recommend if you love flavorful, authentic Indian food!
This place is a hidden gem! The food was to die for, and the owners were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh, we ended up cleaning the plate with that one. I also had a mango lassi and it was pure mango and not too sweet, just delicious. If we lived here we would come back every week.
The Tandoori Chicken was huge, you get half a chicken, and super flavorful. The naan was also giant. Everything about this place was wonderful.
I always enjoy the service & food here. Can’t beat the lunch specials. I brought my family here for lunch (they’re nervous around exotic food) and there were no leftovers. Excellent food and friendly service! A hidden gem.
The restaurant is as good as it gets. The two plates that my son and I had were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The family run restaurant’s service was impeccable. I look forward to my next meal at Shere Punjab.
Hey we ate here on a really hot day. Not even sure why because I kind of wanted something cool. But it ended up being perfect. The host and servers where all great and when they asked me how spicy I wanted it (1 to 10 - 10 being the hottest) and I was kind wishy washy at 4 he said “let’s play it safe with three.” I chuckled and said sure. I’m glad I did. It was pretty spicy at 3! This is a man who knows his customers!
The food was all really delicious. I would go back again if I’m ever in the area again(just visiting for a few days). Portions big enough for a second meal of tasty leftovers
TL;DR It was a great experience and the food was delicious.
Ate here for the first time for lunch today. Fantastic spicing and had a heat level system of 1-10.
I had the lunch serving of Chicken Masala, heat level 8. It had a wonderful, thick sauce and the chicken was tender. Heat was enough to make my nose run, just like I enjoy :3 the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They did an amazing job keeping our waters filled.
I also got to try the lunch serving of Chicken Curry, heat level 8. It was delicious, too.
Forgot to take photos of our food, but they had a cute window seating area.
Very good food. Not watered down and has the proper amount of spice. We weren’t a fan of the mango lassi, but the food was good.
Great food! The lamb falls apart it’s always made perfectly, no mutter the sauce you pair it with. Very authentic including great Indian lager. Can be very busy, and parking can be challenging. There’s usually a space on Union Street if nothing can be found on Maine Street.
The best Indian Food east of New York City. So many delicious options outside of the regular Tikka Masala or Saag (but the Tikka Masala and Saag are still delicious). Sometimes you wait a bit for your food, but that's because they are making it fresh. If you have a nut allergy, they easily accommodate.
Authentic Indian food - mango curry and chicken Tikka Masala were delicious and the garlic Naan was a perfect addition. Highly recommend the mango Lassi drink!
A nice little small spot in the small town of Brunswick.. looks and feels nice and comfy.
Good Food, but with a twist, Dal Makhani is usually made from black lentils, they make it using yellow lentils. They've mentioned that on the menu, but as a regular consumer of Indian food, it was pretty unusual.
Bhindi Masala was good too, but again not the typical Indian taste but very very close to it.
Tandoori Roti was the Bomb, loved it. Requested the guy to make it really well done and crispy and they delivered exactly that. Loved it!
So so so delicious! Best Indian food in the area, will be back for sure!! The 1-10 heat system was spot on, I got a level 1 (pregnant lady precautions!) and my husband got an 8. Spot on for heat, and everything was delicious. Did I mention DELICIOUS?!
Service was great too, even with a table of 10 coming in at the same time as us and tons of people with to-go orders on a Saturday night.
Food was great as always! The mild level of spice was exactly that. It had flavor but little kick. Medium makes you aware of the spices and hot will make all your body hair try to leave at once.
Best Indian food we’ve had anywhere! Family restaurant that delivers great food every time. Very popular, be prepared to wait for a table. Its worth it!
