Top notch breakfast. Absolutely spot on. Excellent service, very affordable, right in town near everything. Lots of parking, excellent atmosphere.
I come from an Irish family. Being new to the area having a home base pub was important to me. This place checks every box. I have not had a bad meal yet. The staff are all very nice! Best of all the Guinness is always flowing!
Our waiter was brand new, but the supporting staff was very attentive and helped the server. We had the Irish Quesadilla,an excellent version! And they serve Magners, cider that you rarely find in the US.
The pub has a great neighborhood feel. Over the decades they've collected a number of pictures and signs that definitely fit the outlook of the Irish including a sense of humor. Some interesting menu selections like my Pastrami Poutine and my wife had a sizable salmon sandwich. And importantly in an Irish pub, the service was quite friendly.
We stopped in for a drink along with something to eat, we had the loaded nachos when they came we were definitely impressed with the size of the dish and would definitely recommend it as a appetizer.
Value priced meals, our sandwiches were delicious, the bread great, good craft beer selection along with beverage staples, some outdoor patio seating which we enjoyed during short Maine summers, friendly staff.
Solid Irish style pub, good food and drink. Happened to be there on Irish music night, great music and ambiance! Will return.
I can recommend a great Irish pub called Byrnes Irish Pub in Brunswick, Maine. I had the bangers and mash and it was amazing! The sausages were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. My mom had the Shepards pie and it was one of the best she's ever had. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were also great and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Byrnes Irish Pub to anyone looking for great food and a great atmosphere. It's definitely worth checking out!
Had the Mac and Cheese and it was delicious! Generous portion and really friendly staff.
I only ate here once, but I enjoyed the Bangers. The soda bread was very unique, unusual and I still don't know if I liked it. But I'd probably eat it again. Sausage was good, served with mustard and I washed it down my gullet with pint of Guinness. Service was great, bartender answered all my questions and was very attentive despite her fullish bar. Atmosphere was good. Cozy place to tuck in for a few pints. Easy to park. Convenient. Good Irish whisky selection.
