A classic if there ever was one.
This Amato's location is decent. There's definitely been some deterioration within the brand / chain, particularly worrisome are the locations at gas stations and other locations that are staffed up by miscreants that are awful even after you account for the fact that they're teenagers.. but this Amato's was fine, and the next time I'm passing through and needing a classic Italian Sandwich, this Will be my spot.
Amato's is the King of italians! Best pickles(sour!) Best bread, and oil. So many other delicious items. I feel they used to be a little too expensive but better than most lately. Keep it up!
Had an original Italian sub. Great fresh vegetables on the sub. Roll was very fresh but not dominant. We don't have Amato's where we live, just the nationals, all of whose offerings are inferior.
It's been about 20 years since we'd been here and nothing has changed. The sandwiches are just as good as they were when we lived there. Brought back a lot of memories. Only regret was not having one of their awesome calzones while we were there.
I love an Amato's real Italian. Usually need to do a double meat. The pickles are the best! Definitely make you pucker up.
Since my lunch today was our Christmas party at work I was looking for a light dinner and due to it being a stormy day that resulted in power outages, options were limited. I decided to order the usual from Amato's. It has been a few months since my order. It hit the spot. It was not a long wait either on a busy evening.
Used Amato's in Brunswick to cater a function we had. Fantastic service and setup, and to top it off the food was great. We used them Saturday and Sunday for 50 people each day. No one complained about the food. Will definitely use them again for the next function.
Had to stop in and get an Italian sub from Amato’s, and it was just as good as I remember. The service was excellent. It’s good to see that there are places left that have people who are both friendly and have a decent work ethic.
This place is always a good time. We like coming during low tide, alot more beach to explore. 😎👍 Have fun. Keep an eye on your stuff, the seagulls like to help themselves...hahaha

Always the best, freshest ingredients. Had a Pepperoni pizza and salad. Just the best.

Cold cut. Mayo. Hold the oil. Add bacon if you're making bank. Best Amato's in Maine!
Best eggplant sandwich I've ever had. I love the fresh bread they serve the eggplant on and their sauce is delicious.
New 4 cheese flavor stuffers are an ok change from the other regular two types,, (pepperoni and spinach)
Cheddar being the strongest of the cheese flavors in the mix
