I feel they do outstanding pan and deep dish pizzas with the caramelized cheese crust, and while the thin is decent, there are better thin crust pizzas nearby for less.
This is a Carry out location. The counter service is polite, but overall the prices are a bit on the high side.

This will be the fourth year in a row we have ordered their lasagna for Christmas dinner as I am too tired after making the gravy and meatballs but it is always consistently filling and well-made!! Also, prices can’t be beat and Pedro is great to always be pleasant and make sure the order is correct
This is the best deep dish pizza ever. All the high points we like from other Chicago landmark pizza places combined. Great crust, flavorful sauce, and lots of cheese. Must have when we return to the area. The staff is great also!
Best pizza in town!! NEW OWNER & GREAT SERVICE! I had stopped going there because 1 out of the 2 previous owners was just plain RUDE & didn't care to yell at employees/customers! With the change of management/owner you can see a HUGE difference! DEFINITELY give it a try, you won't regret it!

I go here once a week. Every time the pizza has been good, never burnt and taste great. I like it better than Nino which is around the corner but Giordano's is still the best.
The pizza is hit or miss, depending on who's making it. I'm only giving it 5 stars because the italian ice is perfect! I haven't had Italian ice this good in years! The texture is like silky buttery, yummmy!
Tortorice's is the best deep dish pizza in Chicago (better than the big 3 chains you've probably already had). Get it with the carmalized crust, there's no better deep dish pizza here.
I love the chicken parm sandwich. Their Chicago style pizza is also really good. I've only had the thin crust. No other thin crust compares to it.
We have tried a lot of different pizzas and Tortorices is among the best, if not the best. Have served it to guests several times (even southsiders!) and they all agree that it is one of their favorites.
