Amazing! Wonderful flavors and friendly, top notch service. Sheer size alone blew my mind. Was super happy to have good Mexican food so far from Texas. Highly recommend!
Overall a good experience. The food makes a good first impression and looks delicious. I ordered the taco dinner (approx. $10) which was 3 steak tacos and rice and beans. The tacos and rice were good but the beans were disappointing (out of a can?). The place is quaint with a good vibe as you'll likely hear some Latin music playing in the background. Simple but authentic menu and one you would expect from a place like this. There is outdoor seating but the weather didn't cooperate. Prices are reasonable for the offerings.
I enjoyed my first visit and will likely be back with others. I would have liked for the entire meal to have been satisfying... But not a bad first experience. I'm not opposed to giving them another chance.

Dined in here to try their tacos and margaritas, their taco Tuesday special is decently priced at $2 a taco and they also have happy hour. I ordered steak and chicken tacos, they were served extremely fast like literally 3 minutes and a mango margarita which came with a chamoy rim. I personally think the steak could have used a little more seasoning but the chicken was great, everything tasted very fresh and the employees were kind. Overall it was pretty good, I would recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Edit: 3+ years later and still a local favorite of ours! Carnitas Tacos, Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, or nachos are our top choices!
Food is amazing. Always have great music and the owner is a delight. We always get the tacos, Al pastor, asada, chicken you really can’t go wrong. Tortas are really good and filling. Service is fast and very polite.
Excellent taste on the Carnitas and Pastor burritos! Good size for the price as well. Another small touch is that it's grilled and sealed really well and didn't fall apart like so many other burritos.
This is like the Panera Bread of Mexican food. This place is in a good location with plenty of parking. The menu is easy to understand and the options are not overwhelming... allowing you to easily decide what you want. Service was prompt and food quickly came out freshly made and piping hot. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals here while on business near Chicago. Highly reccomend for fast casual Mexican food.
Stopped by for lunch. Had tacos, a burrito, and a tamale. The carnitas were very good, as were the carne asada tacos. Lots of choices of meats and veggie options. Will have to come back to try more.
Let me say at first I wasn’t to positive about this place but decided to give it a chance and I must say they did impress me. The chilaquiles dish was amazing, definitely will be coming back, I really recommend this place, service is outstanding, very friendly.. just perfect!!
One of the best burritos I've ever had. I ordered the steak burrito this was one the tenderest steaks I've ever had on a burrito. I highly Recommend going to this place compared to the bigger chains that are out there..
What great food and nice staff! Very clean. Tje food was excellent. Very spicy sauces at the table. They should turn the music down just a bit.
Best authentic mexican food around, hands down. This place is 30 minutes from us and we have a mexican restaurant in our neighborhood that's only a 2 minute drive away, and we still choose Tomatillo every time. Their chorizo tacos are my favorite and their guacamole is so fresh and delicious. They also do horchata right -- nothing watered down here! And everything is so reasonably priced. The staff are all so incredibly friendly, patient, and kind too. I can't wait until we have some time on a nice day to sit outside and enjoy their margaritas (also highly recommend!).
A great surprise, amazing food from quality and variety. The atmosphere is nice balance of modern with a traditional twist. The flan is firm and has a well balanced flavor profile.
This place is so good! Im not sure why people are saying it's over priced, tacos are normally around $3-4 individually at other similar restaurants. The service is great and you can tell it's family owned. Everyone is so nice and personable. Not to mention how AMAZING the food is. We were so impressed with the tripe tacos! Will 100% be back!
