Kalypso Restaurant - Buffalo - Photo album

One of my favorite Caribbean places for sure. Definitely try the jerk chicken, pork and pepper beef. The portion size is great and a complete value for money. The food is so delicious and tastes home cooked. Every time I visit Buffalo I always get food from here. A must try!
I ordered the Jerk chicken and oxtail combo. The chicken was tender but that's all the positive I can say. For 25 dollars I expected more authentic flavor. the oxtail was mostly fat and the jerk sauce was barely used. Worst of all the rice was unedited and mush.
ive tried all the jamaican places in buffalo and this was the best by far!! the jerk chicken is to die for, the sauce is the best, just the right amount of spice and kick, without being too hot.. and the chicken falls off the bone its so tender. i always buy about 5 dinners so i can eat them through
Absolutely wonderful Caribbean food. I tried a couple different things on the menu and each one had unique flavors and tasted freshly prepared. I tried the jerk chicken, the jerk pork, and the curry chicken . Portion sizes were generous to the price and I can't wait to go back.
My favorite caribbean restaurant in Buffalo. Generous portions. Always get the combo with oxtail and jerk chicken. Meat is fall off the bone and cooked to perfection. Food is made extremely fast compared to other caribbean restaurants. Definitely check them out
The food looks really good I have to try it one day, but I was actually at the barber shop next door
Nice dishes nice spice the Cabbage needs a little more seasoning but other than that it's pretty good
This is my first time leaving a review for anywhere but I felt compelled to. As a Jamaican I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food I received from this establishment. The fried chicken lacked seasoning and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Don’t even get me started on the flavorless
