A casual, unassuming hidden gem in an area loaded with places to eat. The bar is cozy (think small) and only has a few draft taps but they will always have Stella and Sweetwater and a $2 "house" draft that's a Genesee cream ale if you're in to that. (Even $2 I can't drink it.) Right now they have a very good Heffe on tap. They have a limited menu compared to other places around the mall area but some of their choices are excellent. For starters I would go with the fried eggplant or chicken mac and cheese. Then try one of their Artisan pizzas... they are a little more expensive for the area but well worth it.
This has been my local go-to spot for six years now. The food is excellent, and the menu and specials change enough to keep even the busiest of regulars satisfied. The staff is awesome and friendly, and you can even catch live music here. Great for lunch, dinner or a spontanious night out!
We try and go once every couple months because it is so good! Went yesterday and as usual the service and food was excellent. The Krispy Kreme burger is my favorite and so are the Italian tacos. Never had to wait long for a table and always greeted promptly when we sit down. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and very comfortable atmosphere!
Enjoyed the experience. My wife and I got calamari as an appetizer and it was pretty good. Interesting take on it as well. We ordered a pizza and it was fantastic. Love their crust. Drink selection was fantastic. Waitress was knowledgeable about beer selection and made recommendations. Wife enjoyed cocktail as well. Great service and good food. Also has a good beer selection with local brews available.
Great Service. Great food. The only odd thing was in the back near the kitchen and bathrooms is where we got seated. They have 2 long tables that sit 8 each. And smaller parties can be seated at the same table. We had 3, then two seats across from each other were empty and the hostess sat two other people on the end. A little out of the ordinary for me. Other than that, I have no complaints. Amazingly fresh food.
This is such a great restaurant. The atmosphere, the quality of the food, the wait staff, and $2.00 house beer? Simply amazing. We ordered the calamari and the Parmesan fries to start, which were both delicious. The calamari was very fresh and fried well. The Parmesan on the fries was freshly grated and simply melted in your mouth. For dinner, we got fettuccine Alfredo and a club sandwich, and both were amazing as well. The Alfredo sauce was delicious and the quality was above par. You could really taste the cheese and the garlic, and the noodles were perfect. Will return.
Yes!! This place is the best! We love coming here on date night to grab a beer and Maytag burger. If you love the local pub feel this is the place for you!!! Try the eggplant fries they are super yummy.
Fast, friendly, tasty. All sauces, dough, and salad dressing made in-house. Kid's pizza is perfect size.
We had the Donna Rosa and it was perfect as well.
Must go!
National Donut Day was last week! And this year, I was a day late, but I definitely made up for it by treating myself to a scrumptious delight at Parma Tavern. Parma Tavern may be the only place I know of that offers their famous Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger. Yes. It is exactly what you think I said: Krispy Kreme and Cheeseburger!

Great pizza and music.. Really enjoyed sharing a meateraian, thai, and blt pizza with a large group of people from work. nice way to finish the weekend and relax in a cozy restaurant.
Great choice! Small bar-type atmosphere, but sat right down at 5:30 on a Friday with kids and it was fine. Food was great and service was great! Got there just before the rush. Three different pasta meals were all packed with flavor and the truffle Parmesan fries were excellent!
I would not have known about this restaurant without urbanspoon. A group of 7 of us ate here tonight and it was great. Others have mentioned less than stellar service but out experience was perfect. Great vibe, food and family friendly.
Great service, average tastes. This was our first visit and we had mixed reactions. The service was excellent including many apologies that we had to wait a few extra minutes for the spinach and cheese fondue (which we didn't mind, as we said several times).
The food was good but not nearly as wonderful as some the other reviews. On the good side of average, maybe a little better. Clever combinations of flavors and tasty cheeses didn't completely cover missing some of the basics. For an upscale sounding menu, we were amazed that the tomatoes topping some dishes and on the side of the Caesar salad were tasteless and mushy truck farm versions. Overall, other than the spinach and cheese fondue, good food but not memorable.
We'll try another meal if we happen to be in the area.
Lindsey the bartender was amazing she is extremely pleasant and warm and friendly. We are fairly new to the area and had a really bad experience at another restaurant in Buford (firesalt) so we are so happy we found a new hang out!!! And the pizza was amazing!!!! Hats off to Lindsey for brightening up this inside the perimeter now Buford resident couple night!!!
Always A Great Experience. Hands down the best place for a casual dinner and beer in Buford! Parma has been a local favorite for years now. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is absolutely astounding.
The only problem I ever have there is deciding on what I want to order. I have never had one item on the menu that left me unsatisfied. It is always a tossup between a pizza, pasta and a burger. Some of my favorites seem to be the Penne Bosco, Meatatarian Pizza or the Maytag Burger. Another favorite on the menu is the unique Krispy Kreme Burger. Trust me; it's worth a try if you like being adventurous. The combination of a sweet krispy kreme doughnut and a ½ pound of fresh Black Angus beef have to be the greatest combination since eggs and bacon. Of course the best way to experience a Parma meal is with a tasty Parma Ale from Mikey or Doug behind the bar.
Another great thing about Parma is the nightlife it brings to the local Buford area. Every night has been transformed into a different and enjoyable time. There seems to always be good talent performing live. I have seen some really good artists up there on many different occasions. Monday night has become usual night, the $5 wings start my week off nicely. Thursday nights cater adequately to a younger crowd and is always packed till close guaranteeing a great time. With good security and quick service Parma has adapted well with the space they have to accommodate large crowds.
Bottom line, give Parma a try. From my experiences I can personally guarantee a good time with great food.
Parma is hands down the best restaurant in Buford. I come here on a regular basis on different nights of the week and it is always a fun time. The food is amazing. You must have a pizza at some point. Better than Buckhead Pizza next door. Staff is great as well. Lindsey, Doug, and Mikey are the bartenders who make it so much fun to be a part of. If you ever want to feel like Norm from Cheers come check out Parma. They will make you fall in love with the place.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated instantly. Nice menu selection, creative and unique items; not your typical "Pub" fare. Decent beer and wine selection. Recommend the Spinich & Artichoke Hearts Fondue, well above average. Eggplant Chips were also excellent. Service was efficient and friendly, but there weren't a lot if customers. Definitely a change of pace for the Buford Mall of Georgia area. Try it!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Everything about this restaurant is AWESOME. The space is small but cute. The waitstaff is attentive. And the FOOD it to die for! Have eaten here on several occasions and and have never had anything I did not like.
Awesome place, we went on a sunday night at about 5:30 and while we worried that might be a heavy bar atmosphere it was not at all(2young kids), the food was outstanding and very well priced, and the service was very good! I recommend trying the piccant pizza, it you like it spicy!!
Bill G. Love it a great place to Meet & Greet Esp Tues for Wine Nite Food is great as well
Great menu, awesome food. Definitely where to go when you're visiting the Mall of Georgia.
The whole family really enjoys Parma. Great food, service, atmosphere. Like eating downtown but kids are welcome. This is my current favorite resturant here in Buford.

Doug is awesome thanks for the pecan gelato
Hands down - we love this place... since noodle mi closed we've been looking for a new, fave spot. so far, this is it...
Perfect. Couldn't be better. Had a late supper on Friday Night. The small plate mac and cheese was amazing. The staff was extremely good and friendly. Manager even came over and gave us a deal for being our first time there. Will definitely be going back soon.
Found this on urbanspoon. Good food, prices and service. Family of 4 ate and took home leftovers for $35, tip included.
WOW! wow! WOW!. Thank god someone decided to put something trendy in Buford. I was so sick of crappy bars with bad food. This palce is amazing. Its nice to have a bar that serves something other than miller lite. The foods great, staff is awsome and me and my friends love going there.
A welcome/deliciously tasty break from the regular. I've been to Parma more than a few times now and every time the food and the atmosphere have been great. The menu is diverse and puts a twist on regular italian food but still keeps it real. The beer menu isn't huge but what it lacks in size it makes up for with the selection. There are no domestic light beers on tap - and to any beer lover that is a GOOD thing. everywhere you go in the area (with the exception of taco mac) only has 1 or 2 beers on tap that aren't your everyday 'lawnmower beer' Parma has 8 and even more in the bottle. everyone that works there is extremely friendly, especially the bar staff. Doug and Gunner can become old friends in just a few minutes time but it's genuine, not just a 'i want to chat it up with you so you like me and tip me better' way. One of the things that really gets me chain bars and stuff is the servers and bartenders act like you're just another customer. coming in paying them and leaving. this isn't so at parma. I've been to other restaurants as many times and I dont know the name of a single person there. when you combine the friendly atmosphere of a neighborhood bar with the amazing menu, it's a huge win.
My recommendations:
Appetizer: eggplant chips (get the truffle aioli sauce too, that stuff is good on EVERYTHING)
Salad: the Mista. holy damn. it looks so basic but it is amazing.
Entree: I'm a huge sucker for the maytag burger but the specialty pizzas are great - piccante, donna rossa and last nights special, the lasagna pizza was unbelievable. the only pasta i've tasted is the penne bosco. it was really good.
drinks: ask Doug or Gunner for a Fat Albert - Fat Tire and Guiness.
A Local Gem hidden among plain chain restaurants. This place is located near the Mall of Ga in what my husband and I like to call restaurant alley. Most everything around there is a chain....not that we have anything against chain restaurants, but sometimes you crave originality. That is what you will find at Parma Tavern. They have lots of well known favorite items that they put their own spin to on their menu as well as some of their ow.n creations. We have been there twice and the food was excellent both times. They have a great atmosphere and happy and helpful servers. They have a great beer and wine selection as well. Domestic beers as well as local favorites, specialty beers and craft brews. My husband and I have been their twice and loved our food bith times. I highly recommend the Carbonerra, Italian Nachos, and Meatball sandwich. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed!
Manicotti and carbonara spagheti were delicious. Verynice service and atmosphere. A+
New restaurant but amazing food. I had a chicken sandwich and a mista salad. Both were very good. The décor is interesting and adds to the whole dining experience. I would go again in a heartbeat.
Two Krispy Kreme doughnuts serving as the top and bottom buns with plenty of meat, cheese, bacon & sauce in the center-it's the BEST sweet and savory combination you'll find. Pair that with a classic burger side or salad if you're feeling healthy & you've got yourself a game-winning meal!
Parma Tavern . Drive north on I-85 and exit towards Mall of Georgia. Keep going past the first couple mall entrances. In a nondescript strip mall on the left lies this eatery. Though a decent sized establishment, it is impossible to see from the road. You
In continuing my search for a good pizza in the north side of Georgia, my wife and I had a chance to meet our good friends Paul and Anni for a nice lunch along with my little buddy Augustus!
@parmatavern always gets PACKED so we decided to get there right as they opened up at 11AM. For how small the place is they do a good job at making room for plenty of tables without it feeling cramped up. Service was spectacular and all our food came out fairly quickly (my pizza made it out last).
I ordered their 8inch small personal Margherita pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, oregano, thyme, olive oil, basil) and I think I learned something new about pizzas... don't order smaller personal sized pizzas! It's harder for me to judge and not fair to compare to other full sized pizzas, HOWEVER... this pizza was tasty and delicious. The crust isn't ultra thin so if you prefer pizzas that aren't ultra thin, this is a good spot for you to try. Their mc&cheese is probably a good 7/10 for me, which surprised me because it's hard to find good mc&cheese these days. I would rate it better IF it had more cheese flavor and if it was a bit more creamy, this sauce was a little more on the soft side. That being said, it was still delicious and had a LOT of chicken. Last but not least... garlic knots!!! I love the way these are twisted and fried to perfection, definitely happy with them.
My friend @yellowplates saw that they had a DONUT BURGER and decided to go for it 🤣 I've had a hard time finding a donut burger I liked so I was curious to see what she thought. She didn't seem impressed either because the sweetness of the donut AND BBQ sauce were just too much to where it overpowered the cheese, bacon, and burger patty. Maybe without the BBQ sauce it'd be better? Just too much.
Tasty food, fun menu, good service.... I'll be back but I'll keep looking for that best 🍕 By the way, park in the back!!

There are many restaurants in this neighborhood. This is one of the restaurants to try if you are near the Mall of Georgia. We tried the Mojito, Wings, two different kinds of Personal Pizza( Magic Mushroom with Sun dried Tomatoes, BBQ Chicken, and Taco(Buffalo). Taco was excellent and priced really well.
I really liked two servers in particular and their excellent services. We were there at 4:15P.m on Saturday(6/4/22) still packed. I don't have pictures of the Taco and wings. I was too hungry and devoured it as soon it arrived. If you visit the place on my recommendation post your picture.
The service and drinks are worth a second visit!
Drinks - Very good!
Potchos- were ok, lacked a bit of flavor
I was expecting loaded potatoes but bar style & on chips
BBQ Chicken Pizza - chicken could use more seasoning or salt/pepper
Pepperoni Pizza - sadly this fell apart once we sliced it, maybe too much sauce not sure.
Would return for drinks
Decent amount of parking available by the resultant, but it does get busy during peak hours.
Most staff didn’t wear masks and there mmmmm no social distancing.
Calamari: fresh, hot and crispy! It’s not the typically calamari I have had…it’s a bigger chunk of calamari than the typical small more breading ones. Love the tartare sauce.
Meatatarian pizza: nice and hot fresh out of the oven. It is more thin, which I like. But the meat was a bit overwhelming for me, after the first piece it was too salty.
Mahi tacos: love it! The sauce was amazing and the mahi tasted great.
Side Cesar salad: very standard but paired with balsamic vinaigrette. More acidic and compliments the pizza nicely.
Overall love the vibe, the food was great (would opt for a different pizza next time), service was good, and well priced alcohol. Can’t beat $2 house draft! Would love to check it out when there is live music playing.
I arrive just before noon and was happy to be sat immediately for Sunday Brunch. Mimosas were great. We also ordered the caprese and the southern breakfast off the brunch menu. My eggs were overcooked, I ordered over medium and the yolks were solid, not runny at all. Biscuits were very tasty. Service was wonderful.
Visited last night and couldn’t recommend Parma Tavern enough. Sarah took care of us and she was such a delight. She always had a smile on her face, even simply walking around the restaurant. She recommended the Parmesan crusted chicken. I loved it, it was a little heavy so come prepared to eat!
