Great sushi with good portions and great service!! Very friendly and very accommodating to changes due to allergies. Can’t wait to go back.
Have been faithfully ordering from Sushi Maki since we moved to the area in 2014. Wonderful, family owned & operated business for which I am incredibly grateful to have the pleasure to patronize. From our first experience, whereupon I was a few months pregnant, and the owner graciously ensured everything I ordered was pregnancy safe (even going out of her way to have the salmon seared etc), through dine in visits with my family pre-pandemic to regular takeout and requests for “fish bubbles” (Ikura: salmon roe) from my girls now we adore everything about Sushi Maki. I sincerely hope that one day (hopefully soon!) we’ll be able to dine in again! Either way, we’re customers for life!
Favorites: Ikura nigiri, Montpelier roll, Columbus roll, Frankfort, and really everything we’ve ever tried. :)
Really great sushi in Burien! The portions are larger than portions in Seattle (and the prices are more affordable). Really well-prepared sushi and a super friendly staff make this a definite 5/5
This is our favorite Sushi place in south Seattle. It’s easily the best value as far as cost/quality of anywhere I’ve been.
They have a high variety menu of rolls and all the staples for Nagiri/Sashimi. What makes this place is the generous cuts of fish, and decent (but reasonably priced) Sake selection.
There are places in West Seattle with greater selection of fish, sake, and better trained staff (On average) but we come back here weekly because its got a down to earth vibe and has the most reasonable prices.

Our son had been wanting to try sushi so we decided to give it a try.
We were amazed at the willingness of Chef Jay to guide us through the learning process! He took the time to interview us about our food preferences and recommended several types of sushi rolls. We had a seared salmon roll, rainbow roll, tempura shrimp roll. All were amazing! Thank you Chef!
Best sushi in burien with good prices. For takeout, order before you get there they are always busy
Ah I love Sushi, but Sushi Maki stepped it up. Wonderful flavor and the fresh ginger...👌🏾Always a good side or for an add-on. In some other Sushi spots, for takeout they only give you like 6-8 rolls, however, when it comes to this place, they give you a way larger portion for a decent and worth it price. Occasionally, some of the portions are even a little bit larger than this. Overall, great food, great service and you'll always have guaranteed satisfaction.
