Wonderful and with Heady Topper IPA in the cooler. Although they disguised the object of my adoration as Bindalu, the King saw right through this thin veil and ordered; Spicy with a Heady please. It delivered. This is a legit 4 star and not to be missed. In fact it may have usurped my previous, 10 year standing, best Vindaloo in Burlington.
Excellent work and the nicest darn people you will ever meet.
Charming place in downtown Burlington for Nepalese food. The service is very willing and the food quite good, especially the dumplings which are very flavorful. Decor could you a few touches to make it more appealing.
Great food, great service, great prices. Missing the Sunday buffet during COVID but delighted they’ve been operating for takeout throughout the pandemic. Definitely favorite spot in Burlington. I encourage everyone in town to eat here
Love this place. Nicest people, delicious food, and massive portions (seriously, each main dish can feed 2). Personal favorites are the dal soup, momos, sherpa chowmein and aalu bhanta.
Great Nepalese food and great decor. The samosas are delicious. They come 2 per order and are good-sized with yummy chutney sauce. I also had the sherpa style vegetable chow mein noodles. They were very good. We went on a Saturday night. They were able to quickly get us a table, but we did have to wait awhile for our food. It was worth the wait tho.
We came 10 min before they were closing and they were so nice and welcoming and were willing to take our order. We got Chicken Momos, Vegetable Carry (LOVE IT!) and Chicken Biryani! It was plenty of food for 4 of us and so delicious. It was my second time trying Indian food and I loved it!
While we were waiting they brought us some Indian tea for free, it was very nice of them!
Defiantly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Indian food in the middle of South Dakota!
The best Nepalese food I've had outside of Nepal. Although there is currently no dining in, take out orders are easily placed online or over the phone. We placed our order days before and they called on the day of to confirm the order; I appreciated the diligence. We ordered the Non-Veg Thali Platter and the Saag Paneer Entree. Very well priced and plenty of food for two people (we still had leftovers). The flavor, texture, and temperature (despite walking 15 before eating) were perfect. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I only wish that dining in was allowed because the restaurant itself was lovingly adorned with artwork, photographs, and cultural icons of Nepal. I could almost image that I was back in Pokhara being in there. Closing my eyes as I ate the food, I was.
