Tops does things the right way. Food is really good and when you're there you don't feel like actually being at a diner. The overall experience was great and we also met the owner Van which is a one of a kind human being.

Really enjoyed the Vegan 3 bean burger on top of a sizeable salad... Hearty and filling meatless option was a welcome find on this traditional pub menu. A wide selection of beers and craft style brews. Cool atmosphere. Helpful, friendly staff. A good choice for lunch, dinner or any time. Recommended.

I came to this restaurant because the other restaurant I was originally supposed to eat at in the area, was closed due to a private event. I can best describe this place as a quaint, cool little restaurant/bar. It was converted into a restuarant from an old garage. There is seating both in the front and side of the building. While not a wide.menu, they offer an interesting variety of food. From burgers to seafood, there is something to please almost everyone. The beers on tap offered have interesting names and descriptions and are probably brought in from microbreweries. The food was not exceptional but good. Prices are fair and service was friendly and good. I wasn't crazy about the decor in the bathroom. The floors, walls and floors were all black and dimly light. It felt a little creepy. However, the surrounding neighborhood made me feel like I was eating in downtown Manhattan in SOHO. It appears that downtown Burlington is experiencing a bit of a renaissance and rebuilding. Overall, It was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this place for anyone to try. It was nice way to spend the afternoon on a cool day.

This is as close to a "where everybody knows your name" joint as you're going to find in Newark. And it's embarrassing that it is taken me this long to write a review, as I have been eating (and drinking) at Bello's for well over a decade. The bartenders/servers are all wonderful, the food is so much more than your typical bar grub, and well over 100 beers on the menu. I typically go for the wings or one of the many burgers or chicken sandwiches, and sometimes the clams in a fire red sauce. Try and get there when Manny has the ribeye lunch special. Then take a nap later
