Stopped for lunch with my son. I had the Trio on Italian and he had the Rise and Shine (it is a cheeseburger with bacon, egg and a hash brown on it). Food was great, service was friendly.
$40 plus for 3 subs 1st off not so great on pricing but subs are pretty big however prices were not as advertised online or in menu. That being said my daughter and fiance said the steak hoagie is best they've ever had. I had the turkey sub cold although my toddler ate most of the turkey it was fresh and actual turkey not some watered down version of pressed lunch meat. The food was prepared quickly and service was very friendly. I would eat here again
Lots of different sandwiches to choose from. The Zach Wrap was amazing. Be careful - the food is larger than it looks. The entire order, including drinks, only came to about $20. The service was very fast even though it was crowded. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals. There are also specials in addition to the sandwiches they offer. We'll go back.
Excellent homemade food at affordable prices make The Eatery a favorite choice for dining out. The owners, Gloria and Mike, are very warm and friendly and it doesn't take long before they know your name, too. No matter what you order the food does not disappoint. I'm especially fond of the Rachel sandwich and the Italian sampler platter that I had for dinner this evening was delish. This is a must stop in Saxonburg.
I gave them 5 stars because their food is excellent and they're very polite. They were backed up because of so many orders, but they are worth the wait. Like everyone else, they are getting back to full strength with all of these new rules for safety.
I didn’t even know this place existed, honestly. I was really shocked how good the food was from here. I will say it took awhile to get the food, but it’s worth the wait. Everything is prepared as you order, so waiting is to be expected. I don’t remember what pricing was like, though. Check it out if you’re into small businesses like this.
Today was my first time ordering from Saxonburg General and I am truly impressed! Food was delivered hot, fresh and on time. They even put my pickle in a little bag so my sandwich wouldn’t get soggy. 😃

Got the steak sub. Monstrous. Ended up being dinner, lunch the next day, dinner the following day, and a late night snack. And a great value under $20. But most importantly is was absolutely delicious. Will be back.
The food is nice, the owners are nice and they now also serve ice cream 🍦. I don't stop by as much as I'd like but always enjoyit wheni do. They'll also deliver lunch to your workplace if a few of you order.
I enjoy eating my lunch at Eatery & More. I haven't been able to go lately because of my work schedule. Their sandwiches and dessert items are the best!

What a great restaurant !!! Very friendly staff and the chicken stuffed shells were excellent. Also, the Creamy Cauliflower soup was very good.
