Review The Haus Bistro - Calimesa

WOW!!! It was really good. It has been recommended to me a few times, and we finally went tonight. We started with the Mac & Cheese balls, they were so very good. Next we shared the Flat Iron Steak. It's an 8oz steak, that had a good flavor, but it was a little tough to chew, it also came with potatoes and veggies (my mom would be proud because I ate all my veggies, they were that good). Now for the potatoes, THEY WERE INCREDIBLE, all alone worth the cost of dinner. But wait there's more, for dessert we shared the Banana's Foster Bread and ice cream 😍 it was one of the best desserts that I have ever had, next time I will try the Apple Strudel to see how it compares. I can't wait until the next time, we may need to go again this weekend. I wonder if they do breakfast??? I bet they would be a huge hit with those potatoes.

We were looking for a place with an excellent menu, great beverage choices and dog friendly outdoor seating. The HAUS bistro did not disappoint. From their SoCal local beer selection, their cocktails, their great entrees and that amazingly flaky apple streusel this place hit everything out of the park. Locals seemed to frequent the place and while we were from out of town we felt very welcomed. The staff is courteous and professional and made our visit awesome. A note about the kitchen staff: I don't know what kind of scheme they're running back there but each of the plates we had were phenomenal. The orzo, the Salmon the fresh vegetables and my flat iron steak were all cooked to perfection. Honestly, the way they prepared the veggies blew me away and I don't often look to the vegetables as reason for why I would return to the restaurant. It was the perfect meal. I can only imagine that the kitchen staff consists of a band of retired European chefs who wanted to retire to Yucaipa, a major Southern California OHV and mountain biking hotspot while keeping up their skills. That's not to say the menu was old fashioned, I'm just saying these folks are talented and they pay close attention to every element on the plate. Definitely will be recommending this place to others.

I can't say enough about this place! They were extremely accommodating with my dietary needs. And their hand made chips are amazing! Courteous staff and excellent food. My husband loved the fish and chips. And the kids enjoyed a deli style sandwich.

The more we covid the more we discover close to home gems like this one. The variety of foods from different parts of Europe right under our nose. I went for the Jaeger Schnitzel while my counter parts discovered the Oscar stack and the Sea Bass Encrusted in Parmessan. I end the meal with a 🍌 Foster's yum yum.. Get out an discover your neighborhoods and see what local support is all about.

It's great to have a wonderful chef locally. The location is a bit out of the way but worth the drive to the area. Their Steak Oscar was a bit of a different take with Shrimp and Scallops instead of crab - but what a great dish! I haven't had that good of a Steak Oscar in years. Cheers to the chef!

The mushroom fries were So delicious! Everything was delicious honestly!! Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff.

February 2, three of my daughters and I celebrated my eldest daughters 64 birthday at Haus. The waitress was so very pleasant, the service great and friendly. The food was delicious. Each of us ordered something different from the menu and shared a tasting from each dish and all were delicious. We are so fortunate to have this restaurant in our community and we definitely will go again.

Now this place is legit. Went for dinner and lunch recently. The service is good, the staff is quick and on what you need. The food is wonderful. Each time all four of us really enjoyed our food, done to perfection. I love fish n chips. Never thought of having it with Sea Bass. Let me tell you, I will always eat the fish and crisp they have. Ate dinner there Saturday, wow is all I can say. The meal started great even before ordering when the waiter brought a wine bottle full of cucumber infused water to the table. Yes even the water was fantastic. All the food we ordered was top shelf preparations. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

First time here today for lunch with coworkers. The food was amazing and the staff was very nice. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer and I think it’s one of the best things I have tasted! The beef dip sliders were really good too. The place is decorated so nice as well. Definitely will be back.

Twice we have been here once for lunch and again for dinner. Service was very attentive personal. The owners went out of their way to welcome us and let us try some of the many other tasty delights. Our second trip for dinner did not disappoint , even though it was busy the owner's still gave their personal touch and again the food was fantastic. I truly recommend this pace. Prices were very reasonable.

I always try something new on the menu every time I’ve been there. Good size portions and great flavor selection on the various dishes! Bruschetta with the heirloom tomatoes are the bomb!

The Haus Bistro is wonderful restaurant. Delicious European style cuisine at incredibly reasonable prices. The menu offers practical variety to reach and satisfy the most discerning palette. Service is consistently top notch. Rapidly becoming one of my favorite places to dine. Be certain to try the lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch menus, you won’t be disappointed,

What a wonderful, wonderful place! Had the French Onion soup and Chicken Scallopine. Banana Foster for dessert. My three year old son LOVED the soup and the Mac balls. My mom had the daily special. We loved EVERY bite! Definitely recommend this place for a decadent leisure lunch. Superb!

Waited to long to try this place!!! Came for valentines and it was so worth their pre-set menu price!!! Talk about making a stress free night for valentines! Wow! Coming back to try everything else they have to offer!! Please please come and give this culinary experience a chance to expand your taste buds!!! There Sangaria Verede is so refreshing!!! This is a much needed addition to the area! The Mac and cheese bites are fantastic! I had the chicken scallopini and it was savory and delicious! My daughters had the steak salad and my husband had the Croque Madame and everyone was really happy with their order! So much flavor! Everyone was very friendly and the service was really good. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Haus Bistro for bringing something interesting and different to the area!

OMG!!! Excellent! I ordered the Cajun salmon over polenta - best meal I ever had. I loved it.
