Review Denny's - Calimesa

Birthday breakfast with my wife. Good food, excellent service. Waiter got a big smile on his face when he saw the tip I left. Excellent service is always tops with me!

Excellent food. Service was a bit Rusty today. Kevin, our server, might have just been a little overwhelmed during this Rush hour. The other servers, a young Caucasian woman and a young hispanic women make sure we had water, super hot sauce, and told us where the key to the restroom was lol. Miss Felicity the cashier was very friendly and kind. Definitely a five-star experience.. for the most part

All I can say, is they aren't using the value menu that's been popular for years, and they tell you no one else is using it. Wrong! I don't suggest dining at a Denny's that refuses to serve the value menu, because there are lots of folks, that wouldn't be able to dine out as much, without it. The prices have gone up with that too, but at least, corporate is trying?!

Service here has always been Great! The servers are friendly and courteous. Food has always been delicious, from breakfast, lunch or dinner food is always right and prices are good! You must try the Nachos!!! It's a small cozy little place that makes you feel at home. I recommend it to anybody who wants to have a good meal and not pay those high prices!

Love this Denny's. Staff is always so attentive and personable. Food was good as always. All the staff is wonderful but I love when Brandy and Desiree are working..

Fed my mom undercooked chicken. She didn't wanna complain but I will. The chicken was frozen (nothing wrong with that), but it was undercooked (obviously something wrong), and rubbery. They served this chicken before it was done heating up, and was a rubbery, chewy, chunky, and crunchy texture. Gross. We'll stick with Yucaipa Denny's.

Service was eh. Food was blah. With the place to ourselves at that hour you'd expect decent service as there was nothing to compete for the waiter's attention. Unfortunately that wasn't the case he was more interested in hiding on the other side of the place. Food was warm but not fresh or hot. Drinks were at least cold.

Wonderful staff. Salmon fillet was small and sauted vegetables were greasy and lackluster though. Not enough value for the price.

As we are seated we're told politely our server will be right with us. The server comes and says is there anything I can start off to drink for you guys? No sooner than the three of us are finished ordering our drinks were instantly asked this is to go right? Now if I wanted my meal to go wouldn't I have ordered it online to go before I arrive for it to be hot and ready for pick up when I get there? We said politely no we're here to dine in. We give a damn if we're 30 to 45 years old and are upsetting your usual senior citizen crowd that comes in Sundays from 11 to 2:30 p.m. Our sausage for our breakfast was cooked on the outside but not on the inside and cold upon serve. I doubt I will ever stop at this location again.

Love this denny's. Service is always good, food is always good. Much better than Yucaipa (which we will never go to again.) Only thing I wish was different was more selections on the menu.

The pot roast was to die for. Too good for words all you had to do was look at it and it fell apart.

Love this place! I come here often with my boys and they love the food here. Service is quick and friendly and the food is always wonderful. Ps. Their chicken noodle soup is to die for

Our waitress, Mayra, is awesome! She's always friendly and attentive. She knows my parents as they are regulars. Knows their orders and makes sure everything is perfect for them.

Went in today, my birthday looking forward to having a free grand slam , like they advertise. Get seated, order a drink and try placing my order only to be told I can't have because I am dining alone. The server then offers to seat me with a total stranger. Awkward. The server was nice about it but I declined and left. So much for breakfast.

Great food and perfect service

I had pancakes and asked if I could have some heated syrup. They said "No". I asked why and they said they don't have any container to put it in. I asked if they could use a coffee cup and they said "No". When they brought the syrup to the table it was in a glass container, the same as other restaurants use and will heat in the microwave and I asked them if they could use that and they said "No." Even a waitress across the restaurant yelled out "NO" for everyone to hear. There is no need to yell. I guess customer service is a term we will read about in history books, and will not find at Dennys. I am not going back here again.
