I came across L.A. Burdick by chance with my husband. We just wanted to have a drink but the amazing place and the quiet atmosphere attracted us 😍 We ordered hot chocolate for our drinks and some cakes, and spent about an hour there. I loved my cake. Highly recommend to taste it.

The place is not very large with few tables where you can eat inside and really not very comfortable. This was the absolute best hot chocolate I've ever had! I got a small milk chocolate and drank it in three sips. I wish I'd ordered a larger size because it's been two days and I'm still thinking about it. My friend got the Brazil. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate but they really enjoyed it. I guess

If you want to feel fancy this is your place! Cozy atmosphere and everything looked amazing! The Burdick cookie was okay, but the iced dark drinking chocolate was literally like drinking a chocolate bar! Incredible!
One of the best chocolate-chip cookies Ive ever had!!! The Torte was really tasty too. Loved it so much. Staffs were nice and inside of the shop was cute. They have inside seats available, which was nice. We got cute small penguin and mouse chocolates for the gifts.
I got the Burdick cookie and the Iced drinking chocolate. The Iced drinking chocolate was soo good. Very rich and it felt just like you were drinking a chocolate bar. Cookie was good as well. Definitely a neat place and a must stop if you love chocolate.
Is this some of the most amazing chocolate you can find in New England? Yes. Is it the most amazing chocolate in the world? No. But still, it would get five stars except for the fact that after having new ownership for the last few years, the chocolate and hot chocolate itself hasn't been as good.
