Ordered eggplant parm with ravioli. It was to die for. So much food that I can get 2 meals out of it for a great price. I would encourage anyone to try East Side Bar & Grill. Plus the staff were attentive and funny. Took picture with us using Snapchat! We couldn't stop laughing. A great night out and will definitely be going back!
The atmosphere is perfect food is awesome I recommend this place to everyone that loves Italian food just awesome
Easily the best place to eat in Cambridge... Anything on the menu is great but my favorite is the Steak tips and the Chicken Parm is just as good

The menu had a good amount of delectable selections. One of the four in our party was torn between four of them. Our waitress could not have been more personable and accommodating. Swordfish, steak tips, baked seafood-scallop combo, mussels and one other entree got rave reviews from our table. A pleasant atmosphere added to a very pleasant visit to The East Side Bar&Grille.

We got the toasted ravioli for appetizers, and it was delicious!! Kinda like mozzarella sticks, but better. A large vegetarian pizza with our choice of toppings, it was an 18 inch pizza, very cheesy. The eggplant pasta was undercooked, we requested another plate and that was alright. I personally felt it was a bit bland. Overall it's a nice place to eat.
Our waiter Michael was really nice and sweet. Food was good too, I had surf and turf. Martinis were strong, just how they should be, I like to have a drink and taste alcohol. We got the restaurant voucher worth of $100 from a friend and were able to use it towards our bill. So there is an idea if you want to gift someone. Place is small but feels warm.
The black pepper pasta was really good. It hit the spot for Italian food and the veal Parmesan was amazing! I highly suggest this place as it is also kid friendly. Everyone was so nice and helpful with our stroller. The food and the atmosphere are great!
We were visiting Boston for the Memorial Weekend and picked this restuarant based on previous reviews. We really weren't expecting much more than a mediocre meal. This restaurant exceeded our expectations and helped make the rest of our weekend a truly memorable one. Thanks to the chef and serving staff.
We were in Boston at the end of our New England vacation and wanted some authentic Italian food close to our hotel in Cambridge. We were not disappointed with East Side...the food was fantastic and their service was great! The server was exceptionally professional and courteous and was very nice to my small daughter. I had the blackened chicken and my wife had the chicken marsala, both of which were very good! We would definitely come back here if we were in the area.
Agree with many other reviewers. Staff at East Side make you feel like family. Huge portions, great flavor. Loved the eggplant parm, the rat pack music and vibe! Highly recommend!
