I always enjoy The Mad Monkfish for dine-in or takeout! They have a great selection of sushi as well as other food options! They have a vegetarian section of their menu which includes vegan items. The place is very busy on the weekends/for dinners so definitely make a reservation if you want to eat during those times. The atmosphere is fun and the decor is unique. But if you are having a more quiet night they do a great job with takeout!

Was visiting Cambridge, and we came here on Sunday night around 5:30pm after Thanksgiving. It was not crowded and no waiting needed. Parking on street was easy at that time. Service was fine. The foods we ordered (udon, sushi boat, pancake, and fries) were all pretty good. The sushi were not outstanding but fine. Prices were on the high side but not unreasonable. It was a comfortable dining experience.

A great meal! Staff was attentive and the food came out quick. It was also affordable for the amount of food I got.. Highly recommend the fried squid legs and vegetable udon on a cold winter day 😌

Great ambience and very good food, slightly on the pricier end (as sushi usually is) staff was pretty nice and food came pretty quickly. Would recommend the fairy tale sushi! I got the red riding hood sushi which was one of the best sushi dishes I had in a while!

Any place with salmon roe (ikura) automatically gets 5 stars. It's the best dish in the world. They can accommodate large parties (8 people). Their menu is pretty large with a decent variety. They did run out of takoyaki when I was there.

Amazing place to enjoy some thai food! I had ordered drunken noodles with chicken and Sapporo with it. The noodles were perfectly cooked and so were the chicken and greens along with it. A very sumptuous and hearty meal. The beer, as usual, was chilled and refreshed. If you find yourself in the area craving for some thai food, the place is a must visit, offering a great ambience and live music to enjoy alongside the mouth watering food.

Recently visited as a party of 4 looking for some decent sushi in the area. With the outdoor seatings right next to the Mass Ave, everything had a nice casual vibe that made us feel at ease. Live jazz wasn’t available at the time of our visit, but we could still faintly hear the jazz music coming out from the restaurant. Only downside was that there were quite a lot of smokers in the area, so if you’re sensitive to smell or smoke, I would recommend dining indoors. We started off with some Thai tea which was excellent. Then without trying any other dishes, we went straight for the sushi boat 3 which was consisted of rolls, sushi, and sashimi. All the rolls somewhat tasted similar as they all had cucumbers in it, but I liked most of their sushi and sashimi. The quality of sushi wasn’t exactly top notch, but I enjoyed the good variety of the sushi available.

Cambridge native and can’t believe this was my first time trying this place. I went during a weekend afternoon and sat outside. Not too busy and perfect for solo dining or a quick lunch. Tried the Shrimp Katsu Bun and it was DELICIOUS! Kept it simple and got Chicken Pad Thai. It was fresh and hot. The tiki drink, Barcadi B was cute and really tasty. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
