My boyfriend and I found this lovely place as we walked back to our AirBnB in Somerville and couldn't be happier we did. We were greeted by the owner who also was our waiter. He was so nice. The service here is amazing. Absolutely no complaints at all from us. Wish we had found this lovely establishment on our first day in Boston rather than our last. Also, by far the best calamari we have ever had!

I stopped in here after spending an hour looking for parking near a few other establishments. Little did I know that I would walk into what is now one of my favorite restaurants on the East Coast. The service was fantastic and responsive, the menu was pared down to only what was needed, and the food was exquisite. I plan on returning here for many years to come.
Food was phenomenal, fresh ingredients, and they make all their own pasta. Highly recommend the salmon, the skin is very delicate and crispy. Just a tip though - if you have a lunch reservation right when they open, be prepared to wait about 15-20 mins while the kitchen gets ready, making fresh food from scratch takes time. Our server warned us of this when we came in at noon, but the food was still prepared fairly quickly.
Don’t get the Gang Gang. It’s a red cocktail that tastes like grapefruit juice mixed with lemons. Stick with a white wine like a Prosecco. Comes in a cute bottle and matches with most of what’s on the menu anyway. The salmon was magnifique, as they say in Italian...at least I think that’s Italian...crispy skin with a soft delicious interior. And a nice little avocado salad with spinach on the bottom. Your taste buds will thank you. The pizza was good also. The bread was soft. And the Caesar salad came with two anchovies. Not sure if that was an accident or on purpose but it worked. Good place to have a sit down all things considered. Surprisingly packed on the Tuesday afternoon we went. Must be popular after work.
Great atmosphere, food was amazing, staff was super nice! I love the murals on the walls. Once room inside looks like a wine cellar. It really gives nice Italian vibes. The food was very good. Great wine selection. I definitely look forward to going back.

Gran gusto!! One of the best little local restaurants!! Honestly, the atmosphere was wonderful and so was the food. We couldn't have been happier with the experience, and can't wait to go back.
We had our wedding dinner outside at Gran Gusto following a small ceremony in the park across the street. The Gran Gusto team was incredibly helpful leading up to the event, helping us ensure we'd have the right space for our group of 12, and were absolutely amazing night-of. Our friends and family had a fantastic time, with both food and hospitality that was above and beyond. We can't recommend Gran Gusto enough for a regular night out or your special event/party needs!
