Yes there is always a line out the door, but it is worth it! I have eaten many bagels in my life, and nothing matches the robust flavor of the bagels from Bagelsaurus or the sophisticated flavor profiles of their spreads. I recommended any bagel with the rosemary and honey cream cheese.

My family is a big fan of the show Phantom Gourmet and when we saw Bagelsaurus featured, we knew it was a must for a culinary adventure. We decided to go on the Thursday between Christmas and New Year's Eve and that was probably why it was a trafficless trip at 9am. We live about an hour from Cambridge and the location was easy to find. Parking, however, was a challenge. Although the line was not out the door (as others have noted) Bagelsaurus was packed! There are only 5 -6 small tables and 5 -6 chairs with a long bench across from the chairs against one wall. By the time our bagels were ready, a spot open up. There is also a long shelf against the opposite wall to stand and eat at. My daughter and I ordered a Classic Jumbo (egg, cheddar and mustard spread) with bacon and avocado, one on an Onion and one on an Everything. My husband ordered the T Rex on Plain (house-made almond butter, banana and bacon). Amazing!!! The bagels were the best we have ever tasted. The generous amount of bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection. The almond butter was so good, we bought an 8oz container for home. We also had so much trouble deciding which bagel to eat, we purchased a half dozen to go! The staff was friendly and efficient, keeping the line moving quickly.

I always tell Bostonians and visiting friends that Boston has a much much better Bagels shop than institutional one in NYC and Montreal. Sorry NY friends , Bagelsaurus's bagels are truly the best and labor of love. . Go experience it yourself.

I've from New York- and these are the only bagels I will buy when I'm not home. They're an entirely different animal than the ny bagel- a unique and wonderful artisan beast that is worth your time and money. Yes- it's pricey but it doesn't break the bank. You'd pay more for a sandwich at a cafe than their egg sandwich which kicks a cafe sandwich's ass any day of the week. Seriously- go get their egg sandwich now. The staff is pleasant and hardworking. And they're led by Mary, the passionate and talented owner of Bagelsaurus. Read their half a dozen write ups to get a sense of their story. This is the kind of small business that I love giving my money to. (Also- Mustard butter is a godsend and has changed my life - thank you, Mary.)

It was awesome! The line was long, but moved quicker than I expected it too. Well worth the wait though. I tried the cheddar & garlic bagel toasted with butter on it and I can't wait to go back and get a breakfast sandwich on the same bagel.

Visited 7/10/18. Literally one of, if not THE, best breakfast sandwiches in my life!! The black olive bagel is amazing!

Went here for the first time over the winter. Brought a friend who was visiting from out of state. The atmosphere was great, the employees were friendly, and we both agreed that the bagel sandwiches we got were spectacular. I recommend the hot smoked sandwich on a bialys.

Pricy but worth it. Great flavor, great bite, great chew. Be warned: they often sell out before closing.

These are easily the best bagels in Boston and rival the best from New York (and thus the world). Mary insists on hand making these sourdough slow rise bagels over a 24 hour period that shows in taste and chew. It also shows in yield, so get here early to get your pick of bagels because they do run out. If you give them a couple days notice you can pick up a platter of bagels, lox and spread for office or functions. do it -- you'll be a hero.

I've loved Bagelsaurus bagels from way back when they were first served in Brookline-- top quality, always fresh, great service. Bagels don't get any better than this!

Traveled all the way from central Maine, and loved the bagels here. The bialy was amazing too.

Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Came early morning just before 9am (and during a snow storm) and there was only 1 person in front of me. Got the classic jumbo on an everything bagel (upgrade to a simple breakfast sandwich), hot smoked salmon on an everything bagel and a wheat bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese (this was delicious). Will be back to try the other bagels and the scallion cream cheese.

As a jersey girl with a love for bagels, these are as good as it gets!! Been on the hunt for delicious bagels around here and happy to say I've found them. (Pictured: onion bagel with scallion cream cheese and classic jumbo on plain bagel)

Delicious bagels with the perfect blistered crust and chewy interior! Great selection, everything bagel is phenomenal and the creamy salmon bagel with dill really hits the spot. Friendly service, quick ordering, and good coffee, all round smash hit, will definitely be coming here again!

My new favorite bagel in Boston. We got the Cold Smoked and the Hot Smoked. Both were great. The Cold Smoked was maybe a *touch* heavy on the dill, but still fantastic. The Hot Smoked and specifically the pickled cabbage were the star. The bagels have a sourdough taste to them that I've never had in a bagel before - it's great. I could easily eat them by themselves or with just butter. We also got a "dessert" bagel - the sweet potato bagel plus rosemary honey cream cheese. It turned out way to sweet for my liking. It honestly tasted like a carrot cake bagel. Definitely worth trying, just not what I wanted at that moment.

A bagel lover’s heaven, Bagelsaurus received an impressive 4.7 with over 1,000 reviews on Google, certainly a testament of its food quality. Being a bagel craver myself, I finally mustered up the encourage to give this small shop a try. Since higher expectation usually leads to bigger disappointment, hence my delayed excursion. The shop isn’t too busy on a typical Saturday noon, possibly because that rush hour for bagel shops are in the mornings. Self-serving coffee made it efficient for staff to focus on bagel making, and we ordered the famous Hot Smoke bagel and also a Jumbo bagel. As you can probably tell from the pictures, they were stuffed with fresh and tasty ingredients. In addition to the specialty bagel sandwiches, I so got a pretzel bagel with spicy pepper cream cheese, YUM!!! You can taste the small pepper chunk mixed in with the cream cheese. Certainly a must try for anyone who enjoys a bite of bagel. But do go before 2PM since that’s when they close.

If you are coming here you probably already have heard how good it is. But it really is that good. Easily the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. It's best to get here early if you can, as lines can form quickly. The staff are as wonderful as the food they serve, to boot.

My favorite bagel spot near Boston. I have driven over a half hour on a few occasions just to get a T-REX bagel sandwich. Almond butter, sliced banana, thick cut smoked bacon, and honey on a bagel of your choice.
