Al's offers the best value for your money for a restaurant in Harvard Square. Huge 18" sandwiches served "Al's way" come loaded with meat and veggies for around $8. Pick one without cheese or go easy on the sauces for a healthy option.

this cafe, steps from faneuil hall, provides one of the best values in the entire city. a large italian-style sub--enough to feed a herd of elephants--for around $8. a favourite amongst tourists, locals, and financial district workers alike.

even in the summer the italian wedding soup hits the spot! the quality of the bread is incredible and the value cant be beat! staff is incredibly friendly its our to go spot for lunch on the go! i love that the chicken parm sub is not a greasy fried mess but rather a sauteed masterpeice of sauce chicken and cheese!
