The original El Jefe's Taqueria in the area was Harvard Square and is still the best. Food and service are great. I do miss the self-serve condiment station. The horchata and jamaica drinks are very satisfying. i usually get the bowl with pork or beef and add everything but the pink onions.
The Mexican Bowl with carnitas asada was THE BEST, the music was perfect and made feel like I was on vacation...not too loud, but just perfect! The ladies were very helpful!
I had a breakfast burrito it was very good and there house made hot sauce is pretty hot!
Ordered a vegetarian burrito and it was pretty bland. Whatever you do DON’T add the pickled onions. I asked for my burrito to be cut in half and the person at the cashier threw both halves into the bag open-mouthed making a mess and spilling the contents. Literally no common sense was used. This is my favorite Mexican spot in Boston. They have fresh Jalapenos, the same staff consistently for years now, and they treat anyone with respect. You can order a plate/bowl online and they WON'T skimp on your order if you aren't there looking. They are my favorite Mexican place cause the food
Got the Super Chimichangas and it was really delicious. They had a variety of hot sauces as well. Very good service and staff was friendly to us. I would definitely recommend
Quick, affordable, and AUTHENTIC!! Im from California so Mexican food is a staple in my life haha. It's great to have such a fabulous option here in Boston. I had the chicken quesadilla and some of their home made chips and salsa, both were amazing :) Good location and great service!
The food taste was good but is not really authentic, food need to be little be more warm also the tortillas. Place was clean.
