Loved their noodles. I was craving on Asian food because I had only western cuisine for a few days. Found this spot by walking around MIT. I didn't expect much but the food was great and the customer service was super good. Try this spot out!

Food very tasty and service is fabulous. We ordered the drunken noodles with beef. They source grass fed beef from New Zealand and you can tell the difference in quality in the first bite. We also ordered the pad krapow Gai, a ground chicken dish with bell peppers and onions that’s in a sweet and spicy sauce. Both lunch entrees came with a side; we chose the chicken Tom yum soup and the fried chive dough pancakes. Both were amazing. Everything we ordered was amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is great and we are excited to come back and try the dinner menu. Would definitely recommend Mae Asian Eatery to everyone!

I judge all Thai restaurants based on their pad Thai... now I'm no expert, but Mae's pad Thai is the most different and delicious I've ever had. It's much more savory than what you'd expect, and mildly spicy at baseline! Also i picked it up at least 15-20min late and it was still warm enough for me to enjoy it. Will definitely return again! Update: I ordered the pad thai for takeout again, but this time i picked tofu... it was lacking flavor. I think the crispy chicken sauce was the hidden special flavor in my review above!

A hidden gem with authentic Thai/Indonesian flavors. Tried the Indonesian fried rice, Pad Khee Mao (drunken noodles), and the original street noodles, and everything was a pleasant surprise. The drunken noodles had really soft texture and they were seasoned perfectly. The street noodles were unique (never tried or seen before), and I really enjoyed all the variety of meats that came with it. The fried rice was also excellent, and the chicken cutlets on top were impeccable as well. Judging from the photos, I initially thought all the dishes came in small portions, but they were in fact the same as typical portions that you would get from Thai restaurants. Although I only dropped by for a minute for the pickup, I could also tell that the owner was nice and friendly. Definitely one of my new favorites in Cambridge, and I look forward to trying their other menu.

SO the food is delicious and the people are VERY nice but the portions are a little small I paid 16 bucks for this plate with a handsome amount of broccoli and literally like 9/10 small pieces of chicken im sad i got home and opened it to see this. Again delicious but not too happy about the portion for the money BUT i would return NO DOUBT.

Highly recommend this place. The service is quick, the food is fresh and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant can accommodate their plates to certain allergies if requested.

The owner is very welcoming. Greeted us in person and gave us a brief history of the restaurant. Got the Chive Fried Dough (not pictured) and the Indonesian Fried Rice and they were both amazing. I love the ambience and decor. Would totally go again next time I visit Cambridge.

Delicious food, friendly staff, inviting atmosphere! I ordered the Spicy Calamari as an appetizer (spicy mayo was incredible) and the Duck Noodle Soup as my entree. The noodle soup was so flavorful. Wow it really hit the spot. Can't wait to come here again!
