I was craving sea food and I love fishermans platters it like my go to so I tried courthouse seafood for the first time today because it's closest and I must say the food was fresh, delicious, and good portion well worth the money you spend on a fishermans platter �
I wish I had more time in Cambridge. I wanted two more days to try the oysters and the fish and chips. I had a soft-shell crab sandwich on my 1st visit and a lobster roll the next day. I was looking for my seafood fix and I found Courthouse. Great people, great food, and reasonably priced!

I ordered takeout and the person did not give me tar tar sauce!!! Nonetheless, their fish & chips and Haddock & chips are great. Sadly they would have been better with tar tar sauce. Clam chowder was also very good and rich. Price is affordable as well.
As part of a local seafood market, Courthouse offers good value seafood meals. While everything is fairly basic, their fish and chips deal under $10 is certainly worth getting. I usually like getting the seafood platter which includes the fried scallops, jumbo shrimp, clams, and the scrods. Their coleslaws are a bit too sweet for my taste, but the quality of the seafood definitely compensates for it.

I was in the neighborhood helping my brother move in to his apartment and this place caught my eye - $8.50 fish and chips. I walked by , in search of the place with this special and this place was it - it didn’t disappoint. This special is every Wednesday and Saturday.
They did have indoor seating only, but everything was COVID safe (spaced out tables, following the recent mask mandate in Cambridge, cleaned tables and bathrooms). I do wish there was outdoor seating, but the location is definitively difficult for this.
The fish was fried to order and super fresh since they are located right next door to their own fish market. Plus, their tart sauce is homemade!
Service was super nice and our food was ready within a few minutes after placing our order.
I’ll definitely be back to try more from Courthouse when I visit my brother!
I love this location in my neighborhood!! The seafood is a variety for lunch or dinner 🍽️ daily except Sunday or Monday!! Always fresh and cooked 😋 ready to go or dine in with no complaints!! I highly recommend!!
We drive down here at least once a month just to have their fried clams. Love going to their fish market next door as well for fresh seafood to cook at home. Cant go wrong with anything here!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet. I have been coming here since I arrived in Boston. The best seafood in Boston/Cambridge.
Food was great but IMO they need to change their frying oil more frequently. Fried Fish shouldn't be that brown color it should be more of a very light tan color.
