Lani & her team at Megunticook Market catered a picnic at Merryspring for our son's wedding weekend this month. The food was delicious and the presentation so nice! We ordered the charcuterie, crudite, fruit salad, rollup platter, smoked salmon, country dessert platter, and mini whoopie pies. We had very few leftovers. I recommend it all! Great food, timely delivery, & friendly service!
My husband and I ordered some pizza here when we were staying in Camden, and it was delicious! It wasn’t a sparse pizza- there were lots of toppings on it, which we both love! The people there were really kind, and we were able to do some grocery shopping while we waited for our pizzas to finish. It’s a sweet little market with a great selection of things! :)
We are forever indebted to Megunticook! Our caterer fell through for a day-after lunch we hosted over our wedding weekend. This team absolutely came through for us - pulling together a fantastic lunch for EIGHTY people in 2 hours. I still cannot believe how lucky we were. This is a special place with such good people who will help you out. The food was fantastic and we are so appreciative to this team for saving the day for us. Great small grocery store but the reason to go here is the bakery! Incredible homemade baked goods for breakfast or dessert. You won’t regret it!
Meg Market is a go-to for both pizza and baked goods. In fact they are my favorite pizza place on the midcoast. Their classic cheese pizza is quite delicious. Their baked goods are quite tasty. Their prices are a bit steep compared to grocery stores and bakeries.
The table of sweets as you walk in is so enticing! Everything is delicious and the staff is super friendly. A lovely hometown grocery/ Takeout.
Excellent meat counter and selection of dry goods. Home made baking goods are good. Nice selection of wine, beer, and snacks.
This popular local market offer plenty of prepackaged food and desserts made from neighboring towns. There are meat deli and made to order pizza counter at the rear of the store. It's also impressive that they offer a huge variety of local and international beers, wines & ciders. Please note, although this might not be a large franchise/brand name supermarket IMO the variety and quality of items offered are excellent. In addition who wouldn't want to shop in a place with friendly staff and they seemed happy and genuine.
Great grab & go options, pizza is consistent and solid! Highly recommended!
Pizza is very tasty but on the oily side, and at a great price.
Beer selection is the best around. Many prices are 2-3x prices you can find elsewhere. For example a small jar of mayonnaise is $9
