Better late than never, took this photo right before Rutgers closed for the pandemic back in 2020. It was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The friends cafe that served Korean cuisine is truly missed. From the wraps, to the noodles and bowls the food was solid all around and was just great and so affordable. Wish you guys would come back
Nice cozy place with friendly staff. The two older people(maybe the owners?) are always nice to me and go out of their way to accommodate the customers. One of them brought out snacks she baked and gave them to me unexpectedly, free of charge.
I've been hearing about this spot for years but I have just recently tried the food. I got chicken udon soup and fried vegetable dumplings. Both were fresh and very tasty and I'm looking forward to trying more.
Yesssss. My friend and I are from out of town and were wandering, looking for a place to relax and grab some good food. We came to the Friend's cafe, just as the owner was beginning to close, yet he welcomed us in any way. He created two delicious dishes in no time flat, was friendly and entertaining and provided excellent service over all. The dishes he served were well flavored and very filling. I thoroughly encourage folks to come check it out, good stuff!
My cousin and I are visiting from Houston, this place is AWESOME! I loved the music so much. It really gave you a different feel than usual cafes. We had the mozzarella sticks and the Seoul wrap, both were great, prices are reasonable and staff is friendly!
They asked us if they could take a picture of us and they'd put it in their wall! So we did and we are now forever a part of Friend's Cafe
Went there on a rainy day to grab myself a bowl of ramen. Was not disappointed. Premium ingredients along with a friendly staff made it a delightful experience. I also got a side of wings which were flavorful and juicy. Portions were generous. Try this place out, you'll leave happy and full.
