This is a family owned mom and pop shop where they treat you like family and are truly caring people. I love coming for the breakfast on Saturday. Today they had these amazing orange and cranberry muffins that we got to go after we ate our breakfast which was savory sausage, crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and a huge biscuit. This place never disappoints and they have the best buttermilk biscuits and colossal sweet potato biscuits. Servings are what you get when you visit family. They also have cinnamon rolls they make by hand everyday that are so large they should be shared. This is a best kept secret spot in Camden County and one of my favorite local spots.

Well, my searchers if you are coming from the north or west to the outer banks. You really need to stop in grab a freshly bake goods or even a sandwich. Get yourself a coffee or tea get back on the road and feel good. If coming down rt 168 make a right on rt 34 then another right on rt 158. Don't worry rt 158 put you back on rt 168. This bake house is right next to the fabulous poor boys farm market.

One of North Carolina’s hidden treasures is the, Family owned and run, Belcross Bakery. Only a Short distance from the Outer Banks, their southern breakfast and lunch menu is sure to please everyone. Especially the sweet potato pecan cinnamon bun, (that would rival a Cinnabon any day of the week). Even my children who are picky eaters cleaned their plates. The Belcross bakery is now on our list of favorite places to visit on our trips to the OBX and should be on yours!
