Nice little place to eat. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. Our food was good except the green beans. They were bland. They did have a good bar as well and it was pretty good too.
We stopped by for a friendly, casual dinner and were not disappointed. Everyone was super nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. Nice hearty meals at a great price. Our waitress, Robin, was sweet as could be and suggested her favorite meal to me when I asked her. The Little Ricky sandwich was fantastic!
I'd give this place 10 stars based on value alone. But I want to give a little more detail. So food. Fried okra 2 stars, it wasn't nasty but tastes like it was bought from a grocery store. French fries 2 Stars, same as okra. Huge chili cheese burger five stars, absolutely amazing Burger especially for the price paid the only thing I would recommend is toasting the bun because with the chilly it gets a little soggy but it's whatever. Club sandwich five stars, it was everything the club sandwich should be and The Taste was really good and again the value. The waitress five stars, Brandy did a great job checking on us she made some recommendations and she was overall a good waitress. The overall atmosphere four stars it was nice place clean had a very country hometown feel. I wasn't a big fan of the lighting though I think some individual lights at each table and a lower lighting would have made it feel a little more cozy and perhaps a jukebox. Overall I'm very pleased with this place it's down home it's country I'd say if you're planning on going to the Cracker Barrel skip that give this place to try and support some good local business you won't be disappointed.
I've ate here several times, Foods good and staff is friendly. So if it's a home cooked meal and southern hospitality you're looking for this is the place to go, dining in or carry out good either way! 😊
Great place to eat. Love their food. Great service, friendly staff. Always ready to serve you.
Absolutely the best hamburger I have eaten in a long time. Reminds me of the burgers I used to get growing up. Friendly and fast service. Well worth the 5 minutes off the interstate. I will definitely be stopping there again.
This place is interesting. You won't find a restaurant in the area with better prices for diner food. They do a lot of single serve packets for dressings and dipping sauces which I find weird. You have to try a bunch of different things on the menu. Some things, like the breakfast buffet, the chicken fingers or their burgers are really good. Some other things, like the country steak, isn't great unless you want a salsbury steak, then you're in luck. All in all, good people, good food, really good prices. You gotta spend time finding the gold on the menu, but their best is really good.
The prices are great, the single serving of Mott's applesauce in a cup was fresh according to the sell-by date. The Country Style steak tasted and looked just like a Salisbury steak which is my favorite microwave dinner. The coffee was fresh, as was the boxed Pecan pie and disc of ice cream. The decor reminds me of Grandma's house. 5 stars!
Casual dining at it's finest. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. They provide excellent service.
The food is always wonderful no matter what I choose from the menu. The prices are very reasonable and I can promise you won't leave hungry.
Nothing fancy about this place. That said, the food is really really good comfort food. Everything is very reasonably priced and the menu has just what I was looking for. The staff is friendly and do a great job. They always have great specials and I look forward to going there always.
This is a home cooking sit down family type restaurant. Very clean . Service was excellent ! Server was so friendly and attentive . Had the super cheeseburger, ff & drink. Was the best burger I have had in years !! Was huge !!!! Need to check this place out 😂
A fantastic small local diner.
A group of 8 of us came for lunch, and we were all very impressed.
We had quick and attentive service (many water refills and trips to grab us more dipping sauces). Our server described the menu very well.
Now let’s get into the food:
Chicken Tenders - REALLY NICE. Good light crispy breading.
Burger - 8oz patty cooked well. Thick patty and a thick tomato. Nice sandwich.
Turkey Club - not as good as the tenders or burger, but it was solid.
Sides:
Fried okra and fried cauliflower were cooked very well. My favorite.
Mashed potatoes were fantastic.
Crispy onion rings.
Mac and cheese, fries, and the peaches were mediocre.
This is all VERY affordable. $6.99 for chicken tenders + two sides. $6.09 for the burger + one side.
Next time, I’m excited to try their breakfast! The $8.99 breakfast buffet is calling my name.
I have dined here several times. The kindness of the staff stands out. The food has always been prepared well and the price is right. The is a down home local mountain community restaurant with a open heart for all. I highly recommend for all to stop by and enjoy.
I love this little restaurant. Good food with great, friendly service and very reasonable in price all in a good family atmosphere! The Mushroom Swiss burger is my favorite to order and their onion rings are big and golden brown deliciousness!
We stayed in town recently and the first place we ate was at the 151 for breakfast. It was great! Everyone was very friendly, and nobody gave us dirty looks when our boys made a lot of noise. I think...
The coffee is hot and the eggs are made just right. And let me recommend the biscuits and gravy, because they do it right, with a bit more pepper and spice than I usually get!
We liked it so much we didn't want to go anywhere else for breakfast while we were out of town!
