Stopped in for brunch. Oyster sure was amazing. Crab Benedict, eggs cooked perfectly, hollandaise sauce very well done. Full order is alot of food but they offer half orders. We had the least attentive server in the yesterday who was rolling silver in the back rather than bringing drinks and topping off water. Wearing windbreaker s while serving, that must be a new age thing personally not a fan. They seem to care about how your food is, and with the exception of the one servers very attentive. Very nice atmosphere, home/ like feel with nice fireplace. On the higher side cost wise, but worth every cent for quantity of seafood in dishes and the quality. Highly recommend.
This was out favorite breakfast on our entire oregon trip! We showed up right at opening and got a lovely table right next to the fire. Our server the most delightful person! He was genuinely kind and attentive. The food and coffee were amazing. My husband wanted to eat every meal there!
Yes, please! Fireplace, yummy food, and friendly service. What more could you want? We stopped in looking for a warm spot where we could enjoy good food and each others company without feeling rushed while shopping at Cannon Beach. I’m not nearly as particular as my companions, but I want it delicious. Oros did not disappoint. We decided to eat family style so we could try more things: crab cakes Benedict, fish and chips, Reuben sandwich, creamed spinach soup, coleslaw, and the dirty fries ( truffle oil with garlic, jalapeños and bacon). The Benedict was lovely with housemate Hollandaise sauce over PERFECTLY prepared eggs with flaky, flavorful crab cakes. ( they offered crab Benedict for the purists). The hash-browns were fluffy soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The creamed spinach soup was the soup of the day and we weren’t expecting much to impress but it was creamy and smooth with a floral overtone and an unexpected depth. The fish and chips had dill in the batter for a generous serving of white, flaky fish. We are very critical of fish and chips and though this wasn’t our favorite recipe, it was yummy and every bite was gone. It’s rare to find a place that has fish AND chips both be good. These fries were DELISH. The Reuben was toasted on a rye that was not overpowering with a balanced portion of meat, Kraut etc. The dirty fries were heavy on jalapeño dices if you are heat sensitive, and were crispy and bursting with flavor but not overpowering. We all discussed how rare it is to have so many delicious / successful plates of such a wide variety in one place. The service was friendly, thorough, and attentive. We don’t drink and often when that happens, service goes down. Not here. Our waters were topped off regularly, wait staff checked in but didn’t intrude- rare when not purchasing alcohol. Andy provided superb, friendly service and knew the dishes well and what to suggest based on our questions. There were specialty drinks available for those interested and seemed popular with the other guests. Food prices were comparable to other restaurants and we felt, had good value with the quality of food, service, variety and ambiance. Definitely a place we will be including as a regular eating spot during our stays on the coast.
We showed up about 15 minutes after Saturday morning opening. Got a table right away. The place is very clean including the staff. The place did start to fill up once we were seated but if you arrive between 8-10am I’m fairly confident you have little to no wait time.
Service was great and the staff make routine rounds to check on you. Yes the staff not just your server. Food came out within 15-20 minutes of ordering which was perfect. Everything was delicious. This was our first visit so I always go with the country fried steak on a first visit. One of my favorites. This did not disappoint. Gravy was not too thick. Breading was well seasoned and the cube steak was tender enough to cut with a fork. (They do provide a steak knife if you prefer which I do). We ordered bacon on the side and this is a true thick cut bacon and had great flavor. Not super crispy so if you like really crispy you may want to ask for crispy. I also substituted the homemade hash browns for pancakes. Pancakes come with butter and a homemade syrup. The syrup is not thick like you find in the grocery stores. It was more of a liquid almost which actually worked well as the pancakes just absorbed it on the plate and gave a great taste in every bite. The menu has several breakfast selections and there are even morning cocktails hot and cold if you feel so inclined. We are here for 4 days and I plan on stopping in at least one more time before we leave.
Stopped in for a breakfast. We had not tried Oros for some reason but we’ll be back. Family comfortable, plenty of room. Warm atmosphere, super service, great food with a lot of variety, great value. The log cabin feel with the fireplace was just the trick on a rainy morning.
The breakfast service was exceptionally attentive and the food high-quality and prepared very well. The bacon was especially delicious! The spinach mushroom omelette was as well. Beautiful log cabin architecture and massive, cozy fireplace central to the building.
Overall was good.
But overpriced for what you get, but that’s about anywhere now.
Had breakfast and I think it was Mother’s Day or maybe the day before since it wasn’t busy.
Crab omelet was a bit dry.
Crab cakes were ok, but not near the best I’ve had

Fantastic food, excellent service, the fireplace is a great touch. Nice atmosphere. I had the Dungeness Crab cake benedict. Delicious!! Almost had the place to myself on a Thursday October morning just after they opened. Clean restroom.
One of the great places
for breakfast in Cannon
Beach at this log cabin restaurant with good
food and friendly service.
I arrived at opening in an
empty dining room and
ordered French Toast
with eggs and sausage
links.
The menu has omelettes,
bendicts, favorites like
ribeye and eggs, and
hashbrowns with eggs.
I received my order after
a short wait and the French
Toast was thick with good
taste, the eggs were not
overcooked, and the
sausage was mild tasting.
The restaurant offers lunch
and a kids menu.
Located on the corner of
2nd Street and Hemlock
in Cannon Beach.
A nice to stop for breakfast
with a great menu, a log
cabin setting with a
fireplace, and friendly
service.
Wow, THE place to go for breakfast! Best eggs Benedict ever…and the had gluten free toast to substitute for English muffin. Service was quick, congenial and helpful. We sat by the (gas) fire—very nice on a foggy morning!
